We have been volunteers and supporters of this incredible organization since Sep 2019. We've seen changes and growth in those short years that have saved veterans lives! Their commitment to care for the veterans, service dogs, volunteers and staff is impressive. The time, money, and expertise it takes to achieve this mission is MASSIVE, but the results are well worth it. Training is top notch- Katie is a masterful trainer with amazing instincts and the ability to bring out the best in each pup to match its strengths with the veterans' needs. Seeing veterans go from despondent to hopeful, from reclusive to participating, from fistfuls of pills to less meds and issues managed through action and support- it's a privilege to do our small part in saving veterans' lives with VMF. We're so grateful to be volunteers and donors for VMF and thank them for their endless support of those who served our country honorably and now need our help.

Veterans Moving Forward is a fantastic, hard working organization located in Loudoun County. We have visited their facilities and were blown away by the dogs, the trainers, the volunteers and the staff that helps make the organization run smoothly. The dogs are incredible. This is a non-profit that we will definitely continue to support, and we recommend you look into doing the same!

I've observed this organization transition to a strong, excellent team dedicated to its mission of supporting veterans with well trained dogs. I've seen first hand how the dogs VMF has trained in the last couple of years are making a difference in veterans lives. This is one I donate to and highly recommend.

VMF has hardworking staff and volunteers who seek to help veterans. Katie, the service dog trainer, is so knowledgeable and works hard to pair the best dog to meet each veteran’s needs. The environment is open and friendly. All are welcome to see the training environment and to understand where the funds go.
