I don't know who does the local Christmas Cheer but thank you! Love the lit up rig with the Santa and that is always something very special we look forward to. If it's another firehouse please pass this along. Also' thank you for your service we are fortunate to have you all as first responders. Merry Christmas 🎄
They were previously alright, but starting around 2020, they turned the locale into a siren testing area. It is actually unbelievable how many times and at what hours they use their deafening sirens- 120 db, which is instantaneous permanent hearing damage if you happen to be nearby to them (such as on a path). The use of sirens is incessant and all hours (I’ve been woken up many times after midnight and even 2am), even when there isn’t a soul on the road. When the chief was asked why, I was told I should “rest easy” knowing that there’s traffic. At 2am. In Potomac Falls. Right. The worst part is that they really don’t care at all how much noise they make and lower the quality of life for everyone within the Sterling area. It’s a complete bloody power trip, and we’re apparently powerless to change it. On the off chance you’ll read this review, SVFC, turn the sirens off for your hearing sakes and everyone else’s, and worry about saving people’s lives.
Spent a day on a ride along with a crew from the Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad. These men and women are highly trained, professional and good at what they do! If you live in Loudoun you can be assured you will get the best service from them.
Fabulous team! We finally visited to meet Santa and everyone
The volunteers are always professional, helpful and dressed in uniform.
