I don’t even know where to start with this place. They have been so gracious to us and our pups. We had to put one of our girls down on Monday and on Tuesday one of our other dogs was unable to use her back legs suddenly. They got us in the same day and Dr. Pearson spent a lot of time with us and our shepherd to figure out what is going on. She ended up having an emergency surgery today and they stayed so incredibly late to make sure she was okay and taken care of. I know people have their own families, pets and lives to take care of and it meant a lot knowing they were giving up their personal time to tend to my family. My boyfriend has been taking his dogs to Dr. Gillis for years and we are so thankful for this clinic and their staff. I have spent a lot of time there this week and cried through most of it but every single person we have worked with and talked to there has been so understanding, supportive and PATIENT with me and all of my emotions. I’m so grateful for them and their willingness to love our girls as much as we do. Thank you isn’t really enough.

Dr. Gozenbach is phenomenal. My dog Vinnie, has a lot of anxiety, making vet visits very stressful for the both of us. Every time she sees Vinnie she is gentle, patient and kind. She is very thorough in her practice and listens to my concerns. Also want to give a shout out to the receptionists and vet techs on staff. Vinnie is a rescue and as a result is agressive towards other animals. Every time he needs to be seen, they make sure the lobby is clear and communicate with me when he can come through the side door and into an exam room. I cannot express how much I appreciate these extra precautions and how much safer it makes me feel. From the bottom of my heart (and maybe Vinnie’s after he gets peanut butter) thank you so much Animal Medical Center of Boise!

The vets and techs advance have all been caring and compassionate. My dog Abby was a sock eater and each time we had issues Dr.Gillis and team took care of her and us. We had to say goodbye to Abby this week and everyone there was so thoughtful. Thanks for taking care of us all these years!

Called to make an appointment for my dog. She had been going there for a few years now. She is elderly and is on medications to help with allergies and joint pain. She is due for her yearly exam and out of medication. Unfortunately they did not have any appointments available for a week. I asked for a refill until her appointment date, they said they could only refill one to the date of her appt and not all 3. This was per policy. She also stated that she talked to the vet, and they wanted to see her before refilling. The best part, when I texted to say nevermind, go ahead and cancel the appt and cancel the one refill, she replies “Okay! We will get that all canceled and the meds returned to stock. We won't be able to do any more refills whatsoever until an exam is done. Thank you!” Customer service is just not there anymore. They did not care that my dog would have issues without all of her pills.

I cannot say enough amazing things about AMC Boise. I brought my dogs here for a few years while I lived in the area and they always received top notch care. Dr. Gillis and the staff made us feel like family. I would give them 100 stars if I could!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Hailey Gonzenbach. She has taken such amazing care of our pup who is super sweet but highly anxious. Because of this she requires a lot of patience and Dr. Hailey is just that! She is patient, understanding, and extremely approachable. She answers questions thoroughly and doesn’t make you feel silly for asking them. She has even called us a couple of times to answer questions. She is one of the best vets we have taken our pup to and I truly trust her expertise. We feel so grateful to have found her!
