I went to see Dr. Wolverton at Habitat when my agility dog had a crash with a weave pole that resulted in him knocking bars, running very slowly, and in some cases refusing to run at all. I knew something was very wrong. I tried canine massages with little to no improvement, as well as a vet visit and full set of labs. At that point, I was referred to Dr. Wolverton to see if chiropractic care might help. After our first session with Dr. Wolverton, my dog came home and went on the zoomies. Thanks to Dr. Wolverton, I have my agility dog back and he’s running better than ever. In fact, he just qualified for the national championships this last weekend. We will continue to see Dr. Wolverton on a regular basis, and I highly recommend her for canine chiropractic care. She is knowledgeable, kind, flexible and my dog loves her (the treats aren’t too shabby either).
It's taken me awhile to write this review, at this point I feel it needs to be written to warn others. My dog is still dealing with mouth issues from a dental received by this clinic. I had a dental consultation, in that consultation I gave strict orders to only remove the one, ONE front loose tooth. The vet agreed and even commented on how nice my Doxies teeth looked for a doxi of her age (9). When I picked her up she was drugged beyond disbelief. It took her 3 days to wake up. The day after her dental she yawned and to my horror half her teeth were missing. The conversation with the vet that followed was unprofessional to say the least. Due to their lack of organization there appeared to be a mixup and confusion that resulted from this tragic event that has caused major life long mouth damage to my dog. The vet, even admitted we had a valid lawsuit against them, but still charged me for their mistakes. I chose not to sue them and decided to take a step back and give myself time to write about our experience with this clinic. They should not be using the word holistic in their title - they are far from being holistic!!! They pulled 24 teeth, with no pain meds..
Habitat gave the best care to my 2.8 lb Netherland Dwarf bunny who had a serious abscess on her head that required surgery. Bunnies are so susceptible to anesthesia. I was informed of the issue and told that they would update me from start to end and recovery from the surgery. And they did. Tinamarie had the best outcome. Thank you Dr. Everett, Katie and the office staff. I am so grateful for you care of Tinamarie….and also me.
I was ready to make an appointment with Habitat Veterinary Hospital, until the recent review by Angela G caught my eyes. I simply cannot believe any trained and certified veterinarian would make such egregious mistakes. This hospital even had the gall to charge a customer for the hospital’s error. How unethical, greedy, and shameless are these people!
Took my pup and best friend in for a treatment that required anesthesia this week. Everyone at Habitat seemed to take a direct interest in his well being. The vet, Stephanie Peters, talked to me before and after the treatment and told me *everything* I could expect. Great work by a great team. Thank you all veery much
Habitat is the vet to see. The whole staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We have had the pleasure to see several different doctors and every single one has made us feel welcomed. Duke was just recently neutered and Dr. Baker made us feel great about our decision. Great Place!
