Eastgate and Dr. Metos has quite literally saved the lives of dozens of my pets and companions. I work rescue and rehab, and time and time again, this team has stepped up and gone above and beyond when it comes to providing kind and compassionate care. The prices are competitive within the valley, and the care is unparalleled. I have done my share of vet shopping, and while others are very good, the hands-on attention and care I get at Eastgate have made them my clinic of choice for all my beasties.

Very welcoming receptionists . They tune in not only to me but my dog as well. They talk to her in a soothing voice while her weight is taken. The veterinarian and assistants have been great with my dog too. They listen to me about any issues and answer all of my questions. They handle my dog kindly and competently. Overall it’s not a fancy clinic but it’s been fantastic for me and my pets. (One cat and one dog.)

They are the most caring team of veterinarians I've ever experienced in the treasure valley! They are all complete animal lovers and your animal can tell it. My daughter's cat went thru eye removal surgery there and they were so amazing with the entire process! Highly recommend them to everyone! Love them!

They were very kind and helpful. The vet called me to discuss treatment options before proceeding when my hedgehog was found to have dental disease. They took good care of her!

With the exception of one receptionist, everyone there has been really Great. Excellent vets, almost always positive and caring. But today I raced across town to get my dog there, and was 16 minutes late for my 12:30 appointment... As I was walking in she said " We have a 10-minute appointment policy so I can reschedule you for tomorrow or another day." Which ruins my day tomorrow over 6 extra minutes. I get that they want people to be on time, and I really WANTED to be on time, but she didn't ask to see if there was any other way to get him in, ch CK with the vet, nothing. She was just super cold... It was really frustrating, especially considering I've always been patient when the doc needs extra time there. I'm sad to leave a 2 star review.

Doc Metos has been looking after my dogs for 4 years. Both dogs are 11 years old now and have health issues. Both dogs are as healthy as they can be due this vet and her staff. I highly recommend this clinic.
