I cannot thank Veterinary Orthopedic and Surgical Care enough for the care and compassion they showed not only my dog but me as well. Dr. Caldwell was so kind and compassionate, and explained everything thoroughly before fixing my pup's luxating patella. I appreciated so much that he opts for the conservative route whenever he can. My dog did not make the healing process easy on anyone, and Dr. Caldwell was there to answer every single question I had and help with aftercare. A very special shout out to Mel, Mike and Kelly for being absolutely wonderful anytime I had to call in with questions, concerns, and refills. While I hope my dog never needs surgery again, I can rest easy knowing that Dr. Caldwell and Staff are there and he will receive the best care in the Treasure Valley!

Took my dog Lilly in for ACL injury evaluation. Dr Caldwell diagnosed surgery was the best course of action and explained in detail the process. on the day of surgery he was excellent in keeping me informed. TPLO was successful , all staff were very helpful and courteous throughout the procedure and rehabilitation. Lilly is doing fine and well on the road to complete recovery. I highly recommend this practice if you have a dog with orthopedic issues.

I just want to say Dr Caldwell and staff are simply amazing! Dr Caldwell was warm, friendly, gentle, and very patient with me! I was nervous about knee surgery for my fur baby, Chance. Dr Caldwell addressed every concern thoroughly, putting me at ease! His pricing is so much more attainable then others in the valley! The surgery went well and Chance is 100%. Dr Caldwell’s staff is the best! They are kind, welcoming, and genuine! I simply cannot say enough! I HIGHLY recommend these wonderful humans!😀

Dr. Caldwell and his staff are so welcoming, positive, and compassionate. Our golden retriever, who is usually terrified of vet offices, tried to climb into Dr. Caldwell's lap the first time she met him. She absolutely adores him! TPLO Surgery and recovery went perfect, and she's now returning to her usual crazy energetic self. Can't recommend this office enough!

We interviewed our local vet and did a lot of research regarding the TPLO surgery. Dr. Mark Caldwell was definitely the right choice. His staff, as well as the environment, was calm and professional. Marc Caldwell was excellent in communicating his findings and what it would take to repair the damage. We chose to do the TPLO surgery for our dog. She healed quick and her stitches held up nicely. In the healing process Marc was great at responding to email and then going over the X-rays. Marc took what ever time was needed to help me understand all I needed to make this a successful surgery.
