Dr. Carlson saved my dog’s life. Lenity saw us through an incredibly stressful week last week. Our 4 year old standard poodle, Luna, became very ill inexplicably. Luna stopped eating, became lethargic, and ran a fever. The team led us from diagnosis to emergency surgery for a liver abscess, as well as (two!) complementary staple repair procedures when she got through her collar. Dr. Carlson is a fantastic surgeon and owns the practice - it’s not corporate owned like many other places. She gave us a tour of the facility- they have everything there. I will not comment on the price, except to say that now we know the importance of having pet insurance without a cap. Overall, Luna is alive and we are lucky. I trust the team and am grateful for our time there. Apart from the animal care, they are good with people too. I was an emotional wreck all week and they rolled with me and my anxiety like pros. Shout out to Autumn and Brian who were particularly supportive. Thank you!!!

After our regular vet informed us that our cat would likely need a total colon removal, with a high risk of not surviving the surgery, and advised us to consider euthanasia, we were devastated. However, upon arriving at Lenity, we were reassured that our cat could recover with hospitalization. The staff at Lenity were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, always ready to answer our questions thoroughly. We appreciated the ability to call at any time to check on our cat's progress. After just a day and a half at Lenity, they managed to resolve our cat's constipation, and we were able to take him home with laxatives and a new diet. It's been a little over two weeks now, and our cat is back to his usual self! Although Lenity was quite pricey, the exceptional quality of care made it worth every penny. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome! Huge thank you to all of the staff at Lenity, you all are awesome!!

I called Lenity last weekend after my recently adopted rescue dog ate something in a bush and started vomiting. The person on the phone was very friendly and said they would see him. The process is efficient and seamless, you check in from your car, complete paperwork and then my dog was taken in. He was examined and I rec'd a phone call from Dr. Zak, also very friendly and explained thoroughly his recommended treatment. Every member of the staff (vet techs Brian and Amanda, I think) was wonderful, so nice, patient and kind. I really cannot remember the last time I experienced this type of excellent service at an ER Vet and I am so thankful to have found them. After recently moving back to the Bay Area, I was concerned about finding services in this exact type of situation. I had previously used another well know Vet Specialist and did NOT want to go back there since their customer care and services had severely declined over the years. I highly recommend Lenity Vet Specialists and Emergency Care.

I went to Lenity over a year ago but after I had a horrible experience at a different emergency vet, I wanted to come back and praise these guys. The nurse who talked to me in my car was so sweet and understanding of my situation. Once I told him what was wrong with my chihuahua, he calmed me down and told me what he had was common and not life threatening immediately soothing my worries. This was still around covid time so I was not allowed to enter the clinic. They did his exam and the vet talked to me on the phone. She was very sweet and super understanding about my concerns and my questions. She was very patient with me. In the end, I was given my pet back and took him home with some medication and a cone on his head so he wouldn't lick himself. My regular vet a few days later confirmed that everything done at Lenity was correct and my pet would heal in no time. Thanks for actually caring about the pets instead of the money (like some other hospital I went to recently).

I have visited to this place for two times. My dog had vomiting and bloody diarrhea. Two stool samples were sent to the lab and never heard back after a month! I called them for updates and they said doctor is not available. How come no one call me when the result is out and especially my dog had bloody diarrhea. How do I know the result? From another emergency after they got the record from here. My dog ended up in the hospitalization in another emergency. Never come back to this emergency again. Not recommended.

We had a great experience at Lenity with Dr. Tong for our puppy's surgery. We had found out from our vet that our puppy would need surgery. We reached out to Lenity and they responded on the same day, and we were able to make an appointment for a consultation the next day with Dr. Tong. The entire appointment was seamless. Since they have a small indoor space and are still following COVID protocols, they have you park in a numbered spot, and they'll come out to grab your pet. Dr. Tong was very kind, straightforward, and transparent about the surgery and potential risks. We were able to book the surgery for the following week. Following the surgery, the staff answered all of our questions about how to care for our pup and gave us very detailed printed instructions. The entire experience was very positive, and our puppy is having a great recovery. Everyone we worked with was so kind, communicative, and patient. Thank you Dr. Tong and Lenity staff!
