An adopted dog can be the best friend you've ever had. An adopted cat can be the better friend you've never known possible. Compared to other cat lounge services around Northern VA area, Catty Corner Café offers a more intimate interaction environment for you to find a possible best friend you've never had. The owner is a terrific host. And if cats ever become venture capitalists, I'm sure Catty Corner would earn multiple rounds of funding. It is gratifying to see adult cats at Catty Corner with many rescued from kill shelters perhaps hours or days before the actual act. Some cat lounges typically host kittens which can be a dis-service to older adult cats. The much too common practice of adopting kittens for their cuteness only to be discarded as owners get tired or inconvenienced should be discouraged. Catty Corner hosting adult cats compared to other kitten-filled lounges should be applauded. Besides, adult cats have more personality than kittens. Having shared my life with cats, Catty Corner feels like a second home. If there is any criticism I could assign, it's that I wish Catty Corner hosted bigger cats since all cats except for one were surprisingly small. There is just a lot more cat to hug for bigger cats. Certainly understand that this could be because of the space available. If you've read this far in this review, then you'd know that your patronage to Catty Corner is highly encouraged if you're looking for a possible best friend for life.

Great experience with tons of cute cats. Visited on a Monday afternoon, and there were only a few people for the first 20 minutes or so, but emptied out afterwards. Staff and cats were all very friendly, and the complementary cookies were delicious. Highly recommend whether you’re looking to hang out with cats or are interested in adoption.

This was one of the best cat cafe experiences I’ve ever had! The facilities are cute, cozy, and well decorated. All the cats were extremely sweet, friendly, and playful - most loved being pet and all were calm. The cookies were also delicious, very soft and warm! The employees were very nice and friendly, too. We didn’t feel rushed and the atmosphere was relaxed. We will definitely come back to play with the cats again!

10/10 best experience ever! Coolest place ever if you love cats! I have been to Catty Corner Cafe multiple times and the ambiance of this place is truly like nothing I have ever experienced before! Nice and clean place. Very knowledgeable, friendly, nice, sweet owner and the staff! I am glad that we found them and adopted our beautiful girl Bunny! The cafe was beautiful, spacious, and clean! Super aesthetically pleasing, you instantly feel relaxed when you walk in. The process also was fast and awesome. You will certainly love petting, holding, and playing with cats!

@cattycornercafe Cats + tea & cookies? Say less. Not only is this establishment a Cat Café & lounge, but also a rescue with 98% of them being adoptable. They have had 117 adoptions and counting so far! Overall, a fun and relaxing thing to do whilst supporting a cat rescue. I'll definitely be back! 💲$24/person includes a beverage & a freshly baked cookie for 60 min session in the cat lounge upstairs with extended times for additional fees available. ✨️For those like me, who are allergic to cats but absolutely love them, this is the perfect place to get my kitty fix. I had the pleasure of stumbling across this gem yesterday and the timing could not have been any better (I left my laptop in the courthouse and had to drive an hour back to retrieve it). It is adorable, well-maintained, clean and the staff are extremely friendly. Upon entry, you're greeted by the cutest decor (the owner thought of every detail, seriously!) and signage thanking your patronage of a small woman-owned business (go women!!). The cats at Catty Corner Cafe have hit the jackpot and they've done some great work finding 100+ cats their forever homes. I do not live in the area; however, I plan on visiting in the near future and will definitely be making a stop at this cafe again - well worth it!! I've already told several girlfriends, who live closer, to stop by and show this place some love. The lemonade is great too :-) thanks for your hospitality! Best, Raquel
