First time taking my doggo in, and I could not have asked for a better experience. The office is so cute with a fish tank and a punk rock bird named Shredder. They even have a place for kids to play so parents can keep vet appointments without having to find babysitters! Dr. Patton was informative, nice, personable, and easy to talk to. The front desk staff were easy to talk to, friendly, and gave my doggo some treats for being a good boy while getting his shots. My doggo loved everyone there, and even got to make a new friend with a border collie puppy. Their prices are fantastic, having come from Valley Animal Hospital it was like a night and day difference. The same treatment I paid over $400 for at VAH, I got for less than $100 from this vet. 10/10, highly recommend! I am so glad I found this clinic. Update 1/11/24- Still super happy! Very informative as always and the friendly staff even remembered my dog and came to hug on him.

Dr. Patton is wonderful, and I was thankful to find him when we relocated to Huntsville. However, today we saw a vet who was not good. Dr Simpson is condescending, did not listen, rolled her eyes at me and smirked while I was talking with her. I’m so disappointed and leaving a vet in tears. My dog is a part of my family. I will now be searching for a new vet in Huntsville, Al.

Had a pretty terrible experience with the vet who berated me in front of his entire staff because my dog (a great dane) was super nervous having never been here before. She barked at him because he came walking towards us with things in his hand. Never once did he try to talk to her or make her feel safe at all. The rest of the staff did put the effort in with her and she responded just fine by taking treats and getting rubs. Great Danes are notorious giant chickens and take time in new situations, that doesn't mean she's not trained or out of control. If you dont understand the breed, just say that bro. He also told me that apoquel, given for allergies, doesn't cause drowsiness and he's never heard that before after I told him I give her zyrtec per our previous vet because the apoquel we had her on for 2 months made her sleep all the time. He then proceeded to call our previous vet to try to prove me wrong I guess? Perhaps he could try googling it. Will never go back to them. If my dog doesn't like him then I trust her gut.

After losing my brother suddenly, we needed urgent help with his 9 year old Rottweiler, Sadie. This facility got us in immediately and went above and beyond in their care and treatment of this girl who had just lost her dad. Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of our family.

Excellent veterinarian, Dr. Patton and staff! I felt that my dogs were cared for and my concerns/questions were addressed in a professional manner. They did not try to update products and procedures that I would not afford. Definitely, recommend Northway Animal Hospital
