So, my wife and I are looking for a new pup. We had to put our 15y/o lab Chloe recently and really wanted to help a dog who might not have as good a hone as we provide. We spoke to the woman in charge as I fell in live with an adolescent male mixed breed. We asked to adopt. They will not work with us. I offered to pay the fee, and pay upkeep as long as he was in the shelter. He is ALREADY taking up space. We will be out of town for two weeks, but I will PAY HIS ENTIRE BILL! She was not interested. For all the noose they make about people not buying, but adopting, they were unwilling to allow this sweet little guy to go to a home of a family who has owned every dog un their family from birth to the end. While thus place begs for sympathy, I would call it "Sympathy for the Devil"! Now, instead of giving this wonderful little guy a FOREVER HOME, I'm just gonna keep looking for a quality breeder and give a lab puppy one. It really is sad that they do not wany to work with people who are standing there ready to give a puppy a home.

Half year ago, I came to this store, I found a beautiful set of cutlery, since then I visit here very often, I always find something I like. The staff here are friendly, the store is well organized and clean.

The only two bad reviews are from one person that didn’t get the kitten they wanted and someone that was dishonest about a kitten they adopted not having vaccines (she left the review before she inquired with the rescue). This is the thrift store page not the rescue page…unfair to leave a bad store review when you haven’t shopped there

My family and I went to Mid City market and Rocket City is there with animals to adopt every Sunday. My family and I finally agreed on a kitten and filled out the paperwork. On the tag that was attached to the kitten's cages it states whether or not they are adopted. This kitten was not. After we did everything we were supposed to, to adopt her, someone showed up and they said they had already filled out the paperwork for this kitten. WHY DIDN'T THE TAG SAY SHE WAS ADOPTED! The lady said because she didn't get to meet the kitten yet so she wasn't sure if she wanted her. So why didn't you just mark it adopted until she decided? Instead of breaking the hearts of a family? I will never adopt anything or give money to this organization! I'm very disappointed! I hope by posting this going forward no one else goes through this! If you adopt from them, definitely ask if anyone is going to adopt your animal from underneath you!!! This was not professional!

Tell me why that we paid $125 for a 4 month old kitten and she did not have no shots done nor was she dewormed. She was only spayed and microchipped. Do not trust this animal group at all.
