When we first went to this vet, we were very impressed. My dog had a non-cancerous lump on his neck that had been removed by a different vet. The vet at Cat & Dog Clinic had gotten the records and told us that she would not have even done the surgery because the lump was wrapped around the nerves and she knew it would just grow back. My husband went in months later because the lump appeared to be larger and we just wanted advice. They told my husband, "if" you want it removed, come in on surgery day and they would remove it. What? Why? Hadn't you said it would just grow back? Why put my dog through that again? So we didn't go for the surgery and I called to make an appointment to talk with the vet myself. They cancelled the appointment saying that because we were a "no-show" for the surgery (we didn't even realize it was a scheduled appointment) that they wouldn't do the surgery till November (this is March). We went in today, May 1st, for a consult and was told again that even if it's bigger, they wouldn't do the surgery (keep in mind, she originally said she wouldn't do it because it would just grow back) because we were a no-show. I'm very disappointed in the way they handled the whole situation. We left there saying we would find a better more compassionate vet. They basically made us feel like we were wasting their time. My dog deserves better than them.
Our neighborhood feral cat, he has been TNR, was attacked by something, they got me in within the hour to help our sweet Lovey. So thankful for their fast help.
After years of watching one of my cats suffer with itching and scabs, finally withdrawing and hiding under the bed from the misery. The Doctor at Cat and Dog Clinic of Pensacola fully evaluated her and fully explained what we needed to do to remedy the situation. Unfortunately, most vets mainly treat dogs with cats seemingly being an afterthought. Literally, one vet told us that they were really not big on addressing cat issues. This is the fifth Vet we have visited in Pensacola and I finally feel confident in the care our cats are receiving. My cat's skin is completely clear and she's playing like a kitten again.
By far the best experience, at a vet clinic, I have ever had. The vet “doc” is an amazing vet. Her staff is just as amazing. I’m kinda ocd about cleanliness and this clinic is pretty much spotless.
Dr Ryan and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We are fairly new pet owners and they have given us lots of advice and care.
We had a one year old male declawed and it wasn’t done properly, confirmed by two other vets. We had to bring him into a hospital to get a stronger antibiotic because he had got an infection close to his bones due to his paws not being properly glued when he was given back to us. He was not taken care of. There was cartilage/bone left behind, he was left bloodied all over his body, and his paw pads were damaged, as shown in pictures. Our cat is in pain/limping after a month. Do not trust them to care about their work or for your pet.
