Not real good, I have a stray dog that won't leave, been around my 92 year old mother's apartment about 2 weeks now, she can't take care of an animal, we have checked with everyone around that area, no one knows the dog, animal control has been called out twice and no sign of them, so I go get the dog and take it to your office, and they won't take it, what would Animal Control do with the dog if you had no room for it? It is a beautiful Hound dog, well trained, it would be a great hunting dog for someone that hunts. I took it there thinking the owner would check there to see if you had it, we are afraid it would get out on those busy roads and get killed. The dog is NOT chipped, I took it to my vet to have it checked.

The staff here was very friendly and patient with answering our questions! We fell for this little guy and they made sure we were able to get him! He was already neutered and up to date on shots and the adoption fee was very reasonable. We were very happy with our experience here and with the new addition to the family!

I want to start off by saying the front desk staff were phenomenal and extremely helpful in our adoption process. They spent a large amount of time with me and my partner to find our perfect baby. They were fun, silly, kind and patient with us the whole time! They made our experience wonderful. The only semi-negative thing I have to say is the hours were posted differently on 2 different sites and then at the front door there was a different time again (one said 10 am, the other 11 am and the front door said 12:30). So my partner and I had to wait a couple hours before going inside due to the sites not being updated. In addition to that, we had tried to call numerous times that day and no one answered the phone throughout the day, so that was a little frustrating. But overall, we had a good experience and we love our sweet boy. He got to go to a loving home and we hope all the other babies get adopted soon. Thank you to the staff who helped us! I can’t remember her name but she had colorful glasses and a shaved undercut with darker hair… I don’t remember your name, but I do remember your face and how awesome you were with us. Thank you so much ❤️

Before I speak of my experience with adopting a dog from this shelter, know that they have cockroaches all over their establishment. One fell from the ceiling onto my head. Very disgusting. My boyfriend and I adopted a dog from here 4 days ago and were really excited to have a pet to move in with and take care of. On our road trip to Arizona, we have noticed that this dog has severe dog aggression and pet anxiety. We were aware of the pet anxiety because it was listed in his medical records and this came of no concern to us. We understood that anxiety would be something common with some dogs from the shelter. But the dog aggression is something we were not informed of. When we told the person in the front we wanted “him”, she laughed and we completely discarded it but now we are seeing why it was a laughing matter to anyone who may have no regard for animals and their actual well being. This dog needs professional training. It is irresponsible to not inform us of his condition. He’s extremely aggressive and not safe around people or kids. He almost attacked a homeless man a couple days ago while being walked and several other dogs he has spotted throughout this trip. We will be surrendering him. Thank you for lying and wasting our time but it is no longer “funny” now, is it? He will be going right back but this time in a shelter more than 20 hours away.

Folks here were very friendly and love animals. Very easy to deal with and accommodating. A great reunion for some missed family.

The site is useless in finding dogs for adoption. They don't keep them for more than a few days before killing them. I had an uncle that worked there for decades. He was a mean and cruel man. I guess it's still the same disgusting place.
