I called about a dying woodchuck. The officer arrived within 30 min. He was very cordial even though the woodchuck disappeared. I felt bad because the guy had to drive 30 min in traffic to get here. I had been watching the woodchuck, tried to throw dog treats at it, brushed a rake right in front of it. I thought for sure it was injured or dying. I didn't. want to touch it in case o rabies. As soon as the officer left guess who came back out in the open. He must be auditioning for a new caddie-shack movie. Thanks Hoover animal control for checking on it anyway. Please tell the officer, Thank you.

Officers Phar and Price were FANTASTIC! Officer Price went down the ravine TWICE to search and ultimately retrieve my 16 year old schnauzer - who had been missing from our back yard for 5 hours!!!! Thank you so much for believing me! I knew he was back there! Officer Price IS THE BEST EVER! They would not take a dime!

Officer Dylan Price and Officer Colin Pharr were phenomenal when they arrive to help us get my sister’s scared cats from her apartment. They were so professional in our time of need. The entire Hoover Animal Control Department were. My family thanks all of you so much for everything.

They had a fast response and follow up time for a couple lose dogs in my neighborhood that were dangerous. These dogs attacked my dog and I was very concerned. I talked to two officers that took a detailed statement. Response time was fast.

They came and busted us at the hoover dog park today for letting our well behaved dogs play in the water. There was a better way to handle it then threatening to give us citations and send us to court when we were having the chillest day ever. I don't think this guy even likes animals at all so idk why he works there
