Description Circle of Change Dog Programs offer Veterans, First Responders and Youth suffering with a mental health diagnosis or trauma history, a path toward wellness through dog training & handling classes. Participants either train their own dog/puppy, or dog that requires some obedience rehab. Dog ownership or experience is not required to participate. Class-time is an opportunity for (re)building community, increasing self-confidence, enjoying healthy peer-interactions and rediscovering a path to hope. Puppy or dog participants attract a lot of attention in our programs, however, we are a human-focused program. Battling the negative effects of mental illness and rediscovering a positive outlook, post-trauma, is the ultimate goal.

I have 3 kids that have enjoyed Circle of Change youth program for over a year now! They look forward to going each week and have learned so much from this program. All the dogs have been wonderful sources of comfort for my kids. My kids absolutely adore Miss Erin and all of the volunteers.
