The most wonderful people taking care of some beautiful birds who are looking for a good home. Corey and her crew are truly people who care about these beautiful creatures that shouldn’t be held in captivity, however they find a way to give them the best life possible! If you’re looking for a companion..please adopt! They train their birds wonderfully and really educate you. We’ve destroyed these birds natural habitat.. the least we can do is give them a wonderful life. RIPR does that, with the upmost of heart. I am beyond thankful we found this place.

The birds are well cared for. Help with donations are always appreciated. ❤️ Corrie is a loving, caring person and is the most wonderful person. She works very hard. We love helping when we can. The parrots are like little children treated and trained with mutual love and respect.🙏

My husband, Bob, and I have been volunteering at Rhode Island Parrot Rescue for almost two years. We were immediately welcomed into the RIPR family and have made many friends. Engaging with the flock is the highlight of our week. We have learned so much about parrots and in turn ourselves. It so heartwarming to witness precious feathered souls thrive as a member of our flock and then get adopted by a loving family. It is wonderful to see them thriving in their new homes. While volunteering, we bonded with a special-needs Lesser Sulfer Crested Cockatoo named Chablis. We have been blessed tevery day since she became a member of our family over one year ago. We are now forever part of the RI Parronts family.

I love this place so much that I applied with them and volunteer there weekly. This is a very well run parrot rescue staffed by amazing and knowledgeable people that care for both large and small parrots that have been rescued or surrendered into their care. They have many awesome birds for adoption and care about their birds so they screen applicants very carefully
