I had to take my dog to Central Texas 2x in the past month and unfortunately the final time, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to let him cross the rainbow bridge. Both times they were very accommodating and compassionate. When he crossed, they waited until I had everyone there who wanted to be. The vet with the floral memorial cat tattoos (sorry, I didn't catch your name) was so sweet and understanding. Although we met under very unfortunate circumstances, I am so glad that I chose to bring him here because it went as well as I could have imagined. Thank you for taking care of Cash and I during the end of our journey together.
Last night our worst nightmare happened and we lost our sweet baby Doodle. We were not able to get to our regular vet and this clinic was on their emergency referral list. We are so so so lucky that we got the crew we got last night and the care, and love they showed our sweet baby and family as we sent her over the rainbow bridge will forever be appreciated. Just a note to say that if you are ever in this situation and you love near this clinic, we really think you can trust them with this type of support. We really appreciated the comfort room, and the quick support when we were at our most panicked and we could tell Doodle also felt very safe there. Just can’t thank yall enough. Thank you from our family.
I’m writing this review a few years later, but I want to express my gratitude and appreciation. My Coco, a chihuahua, jumped off the couch, resulting in IVDD. She was paralyzed, and the surgery was successful in her regaining the ability to walk and run around with my other pups, making all of our little family overrun with joy. The surgery took place in 2020, and i still fondly look back on the kind, professional, and loving manner in which they cared for my fur baby in a time of need both physically and emotionally during the pandemic. Thank you.
Nobody wants to have to run their pet to an emergency vet, but I am grateful to the intake staff, the vet techs, and Dr Roxanna Khorzad for their kindness, calming, quiet presence and transparency during my visit a few days ago. They were the type of people I was hoping I would get when I walked in. I have been to an emergency vet once before for a stray cat I found injured back in Hawaii, and did not have the same experience as I had here in Texas. This hospital made the visit easier on me and my 15 year old pup, and treated my pup kindly. They put a couple cute blankets on her while she was on the stretcher and for it being such a hard day for me, this little detail was meaningful to me and didn't go unnoticed. I felt the fees were also fair as they were way less than I expected, and they provided quotes for me on request before I approved anything. Thank y'all so much for making a really hard day for me and my girl a little easier to get through. Although the outcome is that I'll need to say goodbye to my girl in a few days, your kindness speaks volumes about your practice and leadership and I will recommend your hospital to anyone who needs an emergency vet in the area. Thank you from me and Chaeli.
Dr. Simmonds and staff saved our cat when he was at deaths door. Our cat had a foreign body with his own hair ball. After the surgery (which was successful), everything went downhill. His temperature started to increase. It peaked at 105, which was dangerous. I rushed my cat from his regular doctor to here. My partner and I were in tears, and desperate for anyone to save our cat. Dr. Simmonds, warmly introduced us. She went straight to the point on what treatment needs to be done and warned us the cost. At this point, we didn't care. We wanted our cat to be saved. The staff and Dr. Simmonds went to work right away. They held our cat for a week, showing small improvements each day, he was diagnosis of IBD. It was difficult for him to eat on his own, so Dr. Simmons placed a feeding tube. I could go on, but the point is, after a month he was back to his normal self. Dr. Simmonds and staff, we can not thank you enough for putting the amount of effort and kindness to save Pavol.
First off, thank you to both your SOUTH and ROUND ROCK offices. Our 5mo golden needed emergency surgery (over the Holiday weekend)! We were very concerned as his health was quickly declining. We arrived to the South office per our Vets instructions and we were immediately taken care of by the wonderful staff there. Dr. Etgen was thorough and straight to the point when it came to the care of our baby. He ended up staying overnight, then we had to transport him to Round Rock for emergency surgery. Dr. Bevan and his team were ready and waiting for Marley to arrive. Marley was back home by 12/24/23 right in time for Christmas. Thank you all again for all of your hard work and dedication to our pets!
