Description At Sunshine Rescue Mission & Hope Cottage we believe that solving homelessness requires a human-to-human, heart-to heart connection. The Mission serves as an open food kitchen for anyone hungry downtown, free clothing, hygiene kits and more. It also provides overnight emergency shelter, showers and resources for men. Additionally, SRM operates two healing homes, Hope Cottage (women & children), Sanctuary House (men). We surround people in a Christ-centered community of love and support. We work to Rescue, Restore and Re-Engage. We are a non-profit and exist solely through the generosity of folks like you who care. You can eat here if you're hungry. It's a safe place and quiet. Brekky is at 7am. Go there at 4-6pm, Vivian said to talk to them. Dinner is at 6pm. Folks are older and tougher so try not to 'cha' (run away) off. You can only get help if you stick it out. Women are welcomed.

I was completely homeless and destitute with nowhere to go and freezing cold nights and these wonderful people took me in and fed me a hot breakfast snacks for lunch and a wonderful homemade dinner. Excellent mattress and blanket and I even got a Tempur-Pedic pillow. I cannot thank these people enough. ❤
