Highly recommend. I take my cats to the Buffalo branch, since it’s closer to me. The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly. Even if I don’t have an appointment , and I am worried about something, I call them and they give me guidance to either take my cat(s) to emergency if needed, or wait and they schedule me an appointment with a reasonable time . 🐈🐈‍⬛

Summer Street Cat Clinic is simply the best care that money can buy our feline friends. Every single staff member is so attentive, I feel beyond safe and cared for when walking into the doors with my cat. They follow up frequently and have such knowledge on all points of cat care. They care about your cat as much as you do, and that’s irreplaceable.

Dr. Ryndak is superb!! Less than 5 stars for an experience I had with another Dr. who was quite short with me and made me feel as though I wasn’t doing enough to care the best for my cats without giving me the resources to make improvements for my particular situation. There has also been a recent push towards using Gabapentin to sedate cats, which seems to have been used more often since their practice of treating cats in the back room instead of in the room with their owners (a practice which was adopted during covid and may still be preferred by the staff). My cats are quite attached to me and misbehave when others interact with them outside of my presence. This was the case when treated in the back room during covid, so now there seems to be a misconception that they need Gabapentin to have a successful trip to the vet. HOWEVER, they do not require the use of the drug, and I make decisions based on their behavior prior to our trip to the vet and ask for their assessments and vaccines to be administered in the room with me. They always oblige and treat my cats with care and respect. (I also ask to be seen by Dr. Ryndak, which is always accommodated.) Ask for what you need, and they will find a way to make it happen!

I really hate to say this because I had really such high hopes and everyone SEEMS so nice. They really genuinely are more concerned for profit over my cat's health. The doctor doesn't actually do a full exam when they charge you for the exam fee It's really just you paying for occupying the room no matter what happens and that's an automatic minimum of 75 to $80. Gosh I really should put through the prescription to get it filled otherwise first but also I'm so frustrated because I've done so many tests with them but they really mark up their prices and I took my new cat two different vet office in Buffalo and it was half the price and they actually did a thorough physical exam! I've never once seen a vet at Summer Street cat clinic do a thorough physical exam! Not once! Ever ever ever so that's why I'm making this post

I feel very supported by SSCC and more importantly, I feel like my sometimes potentially difficult cat is cared for and treated exceptionally well. My family is very grateful for this clinic and all of the wonderful staff who keep my baby healthy.

The staff is exceptional! The amount of care and compassion they show to our little girls exceeds expectations. They are all so kind and make us feel like our cats are their only patients and mean as much to them as they do to us. The love they show them, and the way they treat us and our girls illustrates the true passion they have for their job. I would never go anywhere else.
