Did my best to work with them on a sad situation regarding a Canadian goose. Karen was incredibly rude over the phone and I ended forging my path to try and help the bird. I’m not saying they don’t have the best interest of the animals in mind, but you have to get past rude and condescending attitudes for that to show. I would likely never contact them again when in need.

Yeah it was pretty sad when you call in trying to find someone to help a animal in need and it's just too inconvenient for them or too far away and they don't want to drive I figured an animal's life was more important than the poor little humans inconveniences but I guess not. And I'm reading that I'm not the only one disappointed in Karen's customer service skills, so rude so inconsiderate.

While walking my dogs on the beach in the cold wind we stumbled upon this poor guy. His bottom bill was hooked to his wing with a fishing lure. Being new in the area I had no idea whom to call. I finally was put in touch with The Ark. What a fabulous organization. Whoever answered the phone was knowledgeable, calming, directive and coordinated the response efficiently. The knowledgeable volunteer contacted me quickly and after speaking to him I was so relieved someone was going to help this poor bird. The wonderful and adept volunteer was able to get him and take him to St Augustine for treatment and rehab. I am so impressed and even more thankful of this organization.

Found this little guy in my backyard during the light rain yesterday evening, contacted this place and Karen called me back, told me by the law I can’t raise the bird without a license, told me there is a clinic I can drop off the little bird, she will go to pick it up later. This morning, Karen texted me, she picked up the bird and well take cared...I really like her, she was so friendly and patiently, I’ll trust her and her work. Thank you very much!
