Last week my dog Braxton got into the trash and by the weekend he was not doing well. I had to take him here to be treated and everyone from the receptionists to the vet techs to the vet were always super friendly. They kept reassuring me that I could call anytime to check on him during his hospitalization and it made a world of difference. Anna was great at explaining everything and giving me options and Justin dealt him trying to bite him at night. My main point of contact was with Dr. Dowling and I was seriously so impressed. I wish she had her own practice, I would take him there. She believed me when I told her how reactive he gets and she gave me some ideas to try and really listened to me with my concerns. I’m very appreciative of this team.

The staff was responsive, kind and very informative after our Westie escaped the house, ran into the road and got hit by a golf cart. Luckily, our Westie only got bruised and some road rash and appears to be on his way to a full recovery. I can’t thank the staff enough. For after-hours emergencies, they are top notch.

My senior pup hurt her leg over the thanksgiving holiday, and she was unable to walk on it. I was visiting from out of town, and my partner and I brought her on a Sunday. The staff was very helpful, personable, and kind. I felt my pup was in safe hands. She has seen great progress in the last few days! They gave me options for treatment and the price tag wasn’t as bad as I expected. I also called today to check on medication dosage, and they were very responsive and informative, even though they were most likely very busy. (I see some reviews talking about long wait times — some injuries are more serious than others. I did wait about an hour and some change, but I understood because my pup was in stable condition.) you can tell everyone here loves their work and truly cares about the animals.

Terrifying ordeal where my dogs back legs stopped working after hours and it was progressively getting worse, to like total paralysis, and I wasn't sure if he would make it. We ended up here and the Vet was able to quickly diagnose it as a putative neurological issue and made sure we knew what the next steps were to get him the specialized help he needed. She showed me and my family compassion in our time of need and made sure we had a plan before leaving. She even called after we left to make sure we were bringing him to the right place. I am very happy to report that not only was her diagnosis correct but our dog has made a miraculous recovery in just a few days. He was so sick not being able to walk I am sure a lot of vets would have just said it was the end and time to let go. I am grateful this vet was competent and said otherwise, and instead of just trying to prepare us for the worst, she instead helped us make logical decisions in our dogs best interest. God forbid we need to rush after hours to an emergency vet again, but if my family dog were to get emergency level sick again after work and we need a fast professional opinion on what is going on I would bring him here again for sure. Very happy with the level of professionalism here.

I was told by my vet that my cat had lost his quality of life and to take him to the SAR to be euthanized. Thanks to the doctor there who seen my cat and wanted to know what was going on and found that my cats upset stomach and the reason he wasn’t eating was mainly caused by his medication. She said there wasn’t anything wrong and recommended changing his medication. So I brought my cat home and thankful she seen it wasn’t his time. Great staff as well.
