My dog was stuck in a seizure for 30-40 mins at the time of the call at 5:30-6:00am… i called to get help getting him to the hospital as he was still violently shaking and he’s 79lb… i told the after hours officer the situation and he flat out said “i don’t have any experience with that”… it took another 20-30mins for him to stop shaking enough to get him in the car thankfully it was 7:15am his vet was 15min away… unfortunately that was too late and i had to put him down because he was a vegetable by that time… had they helped me gave advice or anything he may still be here!! He was a healthy dog just had a seizure!!! They should be ashamed to call themselves an animal control!!
