Description Boise Kennels was established in 1939 and has been providing love and care to clients throughout the treasure valley for over 80 years! Gina, James, and their son Cody have been pet parents their entire lives and within the last few years have dedicated their lives to pet care, training, & breeding. It all started when a family member reached out about some Labrador Retreiver puppies they were going have. Rick (Gina’s dad) got a chocolate lab puppy named Dixie. He went on to learn how to train service dogs for disabled veterans. This created a snowball effect and Gina decided to get a puppy from their next litter, a black lab named Shadow with plans to breed her with the help from James and to get Shadow service dog certified. My dog Rosie can sometimes have a hard time being away from me when I travel. Boise Kennels is a great place for her because she gets the love and attention she needs. Everyone is very friendly and the staff is amazing! Such an amazing place to take your pet!

We've brought our dogs to Boise Kennels for about three years, and it has been such a great experience. I especially love that I can customize their stay each time I book. Their app is easy to use and a great way to see photos of my dogs during their stay. Boise Kennels has been great! Our dog is always excited to go to the kennel and has a great disposition when we pick him up. They also provide lick mats, kongs, etc for a small fee and we usually get him one either every other day or each day. Their website is super easy to book on, fast response, and they have been very accommodating. I always feel our pup is safe, secure, and most importantly well taken care of. Our dog loves coming!

Our dogs were very happy staying that the Boise Kennels! One of our dogs can be a bit tough but they were aware of his issues and worked with us and him to make sure he was well taken care of. Would for sure use again and again

I have only good things to say about Boise Kennels! After adopting my border collie Ziggy just over a year ago, I made it a priority to find a safe boarding option for him whenever I'm out of town. My dog is a bit quirky and prone to anxiety in new situations outside of his routine. Boise Kennels exceeded all my expectations by swiftly identifying Ziggy's unique needs upon his first visit. Cody, Gina, and the rest of the team have been highly accommodating, determining the best kennel environment for him, scheduling his exercise times, and ensuring his dietary requirements were met precisely. Their attention to detail and dedication to Ziggy's well-being truly put my mind at ease whenever I'm away. With my long days at work, I have really appreciated the day-care bundles as well for Ziggy to get play time when I am at work! Additionally, I've encountered last-minute travel plans on more than one occasion, and Boise Kennels has always come through for us, managing to accommodate my dog even with short notice. I'm immensely grateful for their compassionate and caring approach.
