Ruby had to make an emergency vet visit after an accident on a Saturday afternoon. I called ahead to let them know we were coming and the immediately greeted us at the door and led us straight to an exam room. Within seconds, two techs and a Doctor were in our room evaluating the situation. The whole process felt streamlined, everyone was communicative with me and the rest of the team, and of course the best part was getting to be a part of the entire course of treatment! Emergencies are never cheap, but VEG provided multiple options and made me feel that one way or another, Ruby would get the care she needed. We were in and out within 4 hours which absolutely astounded me, but would have been just as comfortable if we had been there twice as long. Not only did they make Ruby comfortable, they made sure I had everything I needed. Thank you Dr. Dixon, Bells, Dylan, & the rest of the VEG team for caring for my girl like she was your own. I hope we never have to come back, but in case we do, I know any of my pets will be in the best hands.

Nobody ever wants to be in a position to need emergency veterinary care, but if you have to go through it this is the place to do it. We went in late on a Saturday night, and the team did a great job with triage and methodically ruling out less invasive treatment options for our setter who had an obstruction. Unfortunately we ended up needing surgery, which the team executed expertly. We felt that VEG not only took great care of our dog, but also that they ensured that we were comfortable and well informed. During Kepler’s recovery the staff spared nothing in ensuring he got good rest, which for him means ALL the snuggles. Highly recommend this team.

I brought my dog here cause she was non stop vommiting, everyone was great and very commutative. My only problem was the assistant that got the initial checkup done on my dog, she was very blunt not very personable which you think you would be considering the people coming in a panic that something could be wrong with their pet. Every time she came in my dog would bark (she's in pain and still a puppy and doesn't know what's going on) she seemed very annoyed that my dog was barking, treated my dog like she was an inconvenience. Other than that everything was great! The other assistant was perfect and very understanding with my puppy and very gentle, she even clipped her nails while under sedation. All the other staff and the Dr were wonderful and very reassuring. Just would prefer not to go in an emergency situation and be greeted with annoyance and irritation from that one assistant :) I would recommend this ER Vet, I love that you get to be there for the whole process and not just left waiting.

I am so happy we took our dog to VEG when we needed emergency care for her. We had no idea what had happened, but they were certain Luna was bitten by a snake. After we got home, we found a dead copperhead. They were very kind and compassionate while treating her. They were very thorough but definitely did not do any unnecessary tests or treatments. They explained everything well. I highly recommend them if you ever need an emergency yet. Emergency vets are more expensive, but I felt the cost was reasonable.

*** HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Hands down the best ER for your pet! As soon as you walk in, someone is greeting you and asking for your pets name. They immediately triage your pet, after taking you to the area you will be. They offer you something to drink or snack on to help calm your nerves or while you wait. The nurses are all very helpful, once one of them is assigned to your pet, they make sure all your pets needs are taken care of, they make sure your pet is comfortable, like bringing a blanket, pillow, stuffed animal, a toy, they love on your pet to ensure your pet is safe. The doctor's will make sure they provide the best treatment for your pet, they include you with caring for your pet, which is great! The restrooms are clean, all staff is friendly and welcoming, while they are attending other pets, if someone else walks in, they make sure the person and pet are not ignored. They even treat exotic animals!! The service, customer service, everyone is all above anyone's expectations. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this emergency room for anyone's pets needs. Thank you to the nurses, and doctors that helped us with Meatball! We really appreciate everything y'all did.

They were all so lovely at VEG. I drove by them on Saturday and looked them up afterwards since my little hamster had an abscess, and I called to confirm that they could take exotic pets. Thank God for them, because the soonest I could get in with a veterinarian was Friday, and I’m afraid that would have been really bad had I waited that long since her skin was already necrotic after 1 day. Dr. Joyce Ho has lovely bedside manner and is very kind. She gives Sandra Lee vibes (the doctor on Dr. Pimple popper), since she truly cares about her patients and is just so personable and intelligent. Abbie Williams the vet tech is a gem as well, she checked on Patches (my pet) more times than I can count and took the time to talk with us as we waited with Patch during her various treatment, as well as bringing her little snacks to cheer her up at the end. Valerie at the front desk was so helpful, and she literally pulled up a giant chair for us to sit in so we could sit with Patches while we waited. The other technicians there were also really sweet and helpful! After her I&D they sent her home with a cute dressing/ sweater! Thank you guys for all that you do!
