Applied, communicated, virtual house interview, and constant communication for 5 days. Friday night, the NIGHT before home visit / adoption on Saturday, we received an email saying the home visit was canceled due to my "criminal background" ..... WTH ? I have ONE misdemeanor.... I have a Federal Transportation Card, I have security clearance to work in and out of prisons, hospitals, secure facilities, and I have adopted animals in the past.... what the actual hell? So after 5 days of communication and preparation, we were canceled at the last moment. Even though Taylor Unroe, Yes i Named You, even communicated at 8pm Friday night making sure we were ready for the following morning. Come Saturday morning Taylor has blocked me with no communication stating why she wasn't coming or anything. I had to search my email for the statement from the dingleberry ( NOT WORTH NAMING) at lucky pup to understand why we had been stood up. Then Tuesday they are back on Facebook begging for donations and food for dogs.... Just a bunch of money grubbing, profiling fruit loops.... Sorriest business ethics I've ever seen

The pup we adopted was part of a litter that had been dumped at the side of the road and became terribly sick with parvo. Lucky Pup committed to the extremely costly treatment to nurse them back to health. Because of this, we later adopted one of them and he has become the sweetest addition to our family. All of the fosters do the best they can to ensure these dogs are well taken care of. The application process is quick but thorough enough to ensure the pups are going to a good home (as they should!) and that they get along with any current pets in the household. If you are not in a position to adopt or foster, please consider donating to the cause.

Found my BFF! The transition was great. The people that fostered my dog were super sweet and worked really hard getting the boy to transition back to a home life. His journey before Lucky pup wasn't so great, and from my understand many dogs that you adopt from Lucky pup come from broken homes or even worse situations, so take your time with your rescue and be understanding with who you are having join your family. Though he is 2 and needs to be potty trained all over again, this was the best decision I made for my family.

Highly don’t recommend you waste your time or get excited about an adoption. The customer service was so bad I thought it was a scammer. Turns out it’s real, and really just that bad.

We were fortunate to find Carter and Marley at an adoption couple years ago. Best decision we’ve ever made. Wonderful people finding homes for GREAT doggies.

Application process was quick and easy with good communication. However, they spay/neuter ALL pets REGARDLESS of age prior to adoption. I was interested in adopting a 12 week old puppy that is a large breed. AKC and other standard recommendations are to wait until the animal is 12-18 months old so they can grow and develop properly. I understand trying to control the pet population but they were nonnegotiable and would not even respond to my follow email afterwards when I ask if I could have time to discuss with my vet. They adopted the puppy out without giving me an opportunity.
