Livewell Animal Urgent Care offers diagnostics, testing, pain management, x-rays, ultrasound, and other critical care services, plus an online pharmacy. Conveniently located in the heart of East Nashville, our animal hospital serves the community and pets of Inglewood, Five Points, Eastwood, Lockeland Springs, Madison, and more. Everyone was very caring and professional. From my first phone call to my last visit, I felt confident in the facility and grateful to have them near by on my little buddies bad day. The front space is very clean and comfortable. The exam rooms are spacious with a folded down table. There was a blanket available for us in case my dog needed it to feel more comfortable. I snuggled him in while waiting to meet the doctor. The doctor was very wonderful. He listened and was very gentle with my dog.

After losing a pet, the last thing that I feel like is on most people’s mind is leaving a review for the place that did it - a 5 star review at that. However, I have so much gratitude for the team at Livewell. We went in on a Saturday for an urgent situation where my dog was in pretty severe pain. He had been sick for a while, so it wasn’t necessarily surprising when we received the news that he was rapidly declining and we have ran out of options. The vet, and the entire team, were so gentle and empathetic with handling this news. I also felt like the vet gave me all of the information, and empowered me to make the decision that was best for my pup since I know him the best. It didn’t feel rushed, instead it felt like I was the only patient in the hospital that day (even though I knew they were busy). The team was so kind, patient, and gentle with my very anxious dog - and it made all the difference. We went home that night to have one last night together and the doctor was able to give us medication to keep him comfortable. The next day we returned to allow our sweet boy to rest - and our experience was much of the same. Once again, the whole team was so kind and gentle with us. The vet took his time, and did his very best to keep our boy nice and relaxed. Losing a dog is absolutely the most heart wrenching feeling - but my husband and I both left feeling at peace.. both with the vet care we received, knowing we were making the right choice, and by knowing our pup passed peacefully. I have 4 other pups, and I know where we will go moving forward for any urgent care needs when our standard vet is closed. If they can handle the most traumatic event with such care, then I’m confident they can handle any situation with the same compassion. Thank you!

Amicable staff who was very informative and patient. I truly appreciate you all who accepted me 30 minutes before closing time. My Dunkin is truly grateful as well. You all are awesome including the Doctor who explained everything they were going to do before he did it—and answered all my questions. <3 You all are the best!!

We've brought our dog in twice to Livewell, both pretty urgent situations. The first was a large laceration that required stitches and the second was after our dog ate a corn cob. Both times I immediately brought him to Livewell and could not have asked for a better experience given the situation. The front desk team is calm and helpful, and they also work quickly. The facility itself is clean, orderly, and pleasant to be in. Thus far we didn't really have a wait and they were able to get our dog in quickly for care. Our family is so thankful for the expertise and responsiveness of the Livewell team! Thanks to you all, our dog is still with us and thriving!

Dr Gibson and Grace were wonderful with Levi! The front desk staff were kind and compassionate. In spite of an upper respiratory infection, it was a very good experience and I thought the prices were very reasonable.

All the staff we interacted with were incredible. They were very kind and understanding. Dr. Gibson really took the time to make sure we understood what was going on with our pup. They sent her medical records after our visit without us even asking which made it very easy to send to our regular vet.
