Came to volunteer to show the animals love through my work and spent two hours with these love bugs and it truly filled my cup. They encourage people to come and love on the animals often. If you’re feeling blue, going through it, anxious about something, or can’t figure out something free to do….come here and love on some pups and kitties. It’s mutually beneficial! I’ll definitely be back.

We adopted our puppy, Lucy (Lyra when we adopted her) from LAFS in December and love going to VCA across the street to see Dr. Maddox. Lucy is happy and healthy and is now 8 months old! LAFS also recently helped us with a kitten that wandered onto our door step in the awful heat and they were very helpful in getting him checked out and posted to be adopted ASAP! Thank you LAFS for helping out the Nashville area as another resource to keep animals in need off the streets!

Seems more like a puppy mill than a shelter. I don't know their vet. Nor do I want to be forced into using a vet I don't know. The vet I use now is great and wonderful with animals. All my animals have lived happy, healthy and extremely long lives. My vet is always amazed at how long my animals live a healthy life. This is a scam of a shelter for sure.

I was not impressed with the customer service. I stood in the store for 10 mins while the employee was on the phone. He never acknowledged me. I would expect at least a simple wave to show that he saw me and was going to get to me when he could.

Staff was super helpful during the entire adoption process. You then go right to Murphy Road Vet for a post adoption exam and to schedule your next appointment. All first year appointments and surgeries (spay & microchip) are included in the adoption fees. I personally like that the cost is split up monthly instead of paying all up front.

I took 3 kittens I found in my backyard to Love At First Sight and they took such great care of them and they all now have homes! I went to visit them regularly and they looked healthy and well taken care of. Thank you LAFS!
