They are so hypocritical on everything in there. They have staff that have been through the mission themselves and then come out saying I want to help other clients but when they do need help they say it’s to much drama. They say they care about you and the church services but when something comes up work related they instantly pull you from the church or your encourager appointment to go work. I literally reported a staff named Lenny Sutherland for trying to send random gay men to my room and when I reported it they just said if was taken care of. Then Lenny Sutherland kept going around to see what I have doing because he wanted revenge. So I got kicked out but guess what a coupe of weeks later he was caught on video sucking another client at the mission off. Crazy how that works.

The Durham Rescue Mission was a major piece in me turning my life around. When I checked into the Mission I was down and out. Easily the lowest point in my life. Because of the Mission I was able to sit still and build my life back together on a firm foundation. I am beyond grateful the Mission was there when I needed them most.

The place sucks it was covered and had over several bed bugs in that places. There were mice in the attic. Cocka Roach crawling all around that place. The people there were rude and disrespectful because they were trying to influence people to see there way of religion. They try to get you to join there victory program there and when you go up the ladder it be comes a cult environment then. My recommendation is to find some were else to go .

My name is Eric Smith, Dec.19 2023 GOD willing will be one yr. at the DRM for me. I will admit that I did not want to come to the mission. But I know now that GOD ordered my steps to the Mission. I was broken Mentally, Physically and Spiritually when I got here. Then I found out about the Victory program and what it represented. I confessed my Salvation and entered the Victory program. This has been the best decision for me. I have heard plenty of individuals complain about the mission instead focusing on their own lives and taking responsibility for their own lives. So I'll end with this and take advantage of what mission has to offer. You want have time to complain

Know nothing about other than they charge men to stay after certain point and request pray Christian prayers. Generally suggest Chapel Hill shelter. Just gave a bunch of toys to police who were conducting Christmas drive assume kids treated kindly not too regimented also maybe not so many kids so presents can go round. Anyway new main police station good spot for community policing very nice officer.

Now that the chosen are awaken leave that place that teaches about a white Jesus. Mills has enriched himself off the back of the true people of the Bible. If he doesn't repent from his greed YAWHEH will show Himself in miraculous ways. Blue you too will pay a price being a house boy.Take heed to the signs YAWHEH is giving you Oh Isreal.Shalom....THERE TIME IS UP!!!!!
