For starters, going to the Vet is NEVER fun. I recently had a puppy have a stomach obstruction and it was terrifying. We have been to a few vets and established with North Paw because they are a fear free certified and you can certainly tell. I came into the appointment so nervous because it’s tough finding a vet when your dog is just all-around terrified. Graham, Caroline, Amanda, and Dr. V were all amazing. I have already mentioned my amazing experience to 3 people since I left yesterday! They are that good.

I took my chocolate lab Koda in for her yearly. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. I can say the same for the veterinarian who she saw. Compassionate knowledgeable a great experience.!

This is a verbatim review, as *dictated by my cat Margarita, who made her first visit to North Paw today. * Marg has countless talents. Typing is not one of them. "I'm so glad my humans took me to North Paw! Some of my previous vets have gotten all judgy about, or even intimidated by, my ever-so-slightly salty and spicy personality. (Okay, fine -- it's VERY salty and spicy.) I mean, sure, I MAY have been known to growl, lunge, scratch, or bite (usually all four) on a few (hundred) occasions, but nobody's perfect, right? I mean, jeez, I'm drop-dead gorgeous; you can't expect me to be Miss Congeniality too! Anyway, unlike some of those others, Dr. Heffernan and her assistant spoke to me with the quiet respect I deserve and appreciated me for who I am: a comely, charming chonk who wants ALL the snacks! They kept the treats coming while I got my rabies shot and an exam. (Two paws up to the pretzel and Churu sticks!) I took a couple of cheese-covered pills and even let Dr. H shave a little mat off my back. (I'm calling my cool new look a reverse Mohawk.) All of this, and I didn't send a single person to the ER! Because in every Margarita, there's at least a little sweetness. And because at North Paw, the care is nothing short of top shelf!"

We have been coming here since we moved to NC, back in 2006. We have remained here because their staff demonstrates excellence in animal service. We feel confident having our dogs cared for at North Paw - the Vets and Techs and staff create a safe and well maintained environment for pets and their care givers. Very satisfied with North Paw!

We were very impressed with all the staff at North Paw during our first visit! Dr. King did a very thorough exam of our cat and she was very knowledgeable about its condition. She took the time to explain everything to us so we could understand the treatment plan. That same week, she even followed up with us to see how our cat was feeling. We will be taking our dog to North Paw next!
