I have mixed feelings. My only option being that Blue Pearl in Cary was full. I had to take my fur baby here (on a Sunday night) after referral from Park Veterinary on Hwy 54. saying she needed immediate emergency care. Been here once before but didn’t return for services due to inadequate opinions. After talking with a male doctor, I wasn’t impressed AT ALL with his customer service which truly sucked! He was very condescending & acted as if in a rush talking to me about my fur baby’s issues, history & options. Unfortunately, that morning my baby didn’t make it & I got a call she was in distress. The team during that time was very courteous, helpful & respectful. I still feel that something wasn’t handled correctly & no answers of what really happened. I still don’t know. The front desk ladies are very sweet though.

Amazing medical help, kind and compassionate staff, clean facility, and always open in the case of any emergency. The only down side is that it is not cheep by any means. Expect a large bill and a substantial up front payment, but while you considering if you will sell off some things or get a second job remember, you do get what you pay for. Also if it’s a high bill you can’t afford they work with care credit and you can get up to 60 months without interest which definitely softens the financial burden. Update 6/11/24 Charlie is getting better and better every day.

Awesome staff here made a scary experience so much better, from the helpful and caring front desk to Hannah and Dr. White. We received top notch care and were completely briefed on the situation, discharge instructions and recommendations for future treatment if necessary. Everyone was super sweet and responsive and I'm grateful for the professionals who treated us!

We highly recommend this emergency vet. Our kitten, Theo, had an accident and was in very bad shape. I have been to this hospital before when we had another sick cat, so I knew it was the best place to take Theo. We raced out of the house with him. I called the hospital on our drive in from Chapel Hill, with my daughter holding the kitten on her lap. We explained the emergency and although their ICU was full, they found space for us. A staff member had us pull up in front of the door, took Theo, and ran inside with him to get him right into treatment. The doctor was professional and kind and explained the situation and our options clearly. I thought we would be looking at a minimum of a $5k charge. But the final bill was $3,600, which is a LOT of money. But when you consider the round the clock intensive care Theo received, as well as labs, medications, and tests and treatment, it is a reasonable charge. Our kitten is making a full recovery and doing so well. I also appreciate that they took Theo’s pain seriously and made sure he was properly medicated so he wouldn’t be stressed and have his healing delayed by easily treatable pain and discomfort. I wish human emergency rooms functioned as efficiently and with as much compassion as Triangle Referral. They saved Theo’s little kitten life. We will always be grateful.

Had to bring Buster in today. Perfectly healthy pit/ woke up and couldn’t stand or walk… Staff was absolutely amazing! They got him right in and started treatment! They were very informative throughout the entire process. With many hands involved Buster was much better in a couple hours. With spectacular treatment and meds we will recommend this place to everybody! For those concerned about the bill amount… if you can’t afford to take care of your animal in an emergency situation…please, for the animals sake figure it out. Go elsewhere for cheap but you will get nowhere near the quality service! Thank you! Stephanie was amazing! Thank you all staff

This was our first experience at Triangle Veterinary and we are very pleased with the entire process, despite it being an emergency and an overall scary situation for us. Immediately from the beginning their staff was very communicative, letting us know exactly what to expect from the process, how much time to possibly expect the triage, assessment, and diagnosis to take. Best of all, the doctor regularly called with updates to let us know how the process was going, what interventions they had already made, and updated us on their expected plan/any changes they could predict. It can be really frightening to leave your pet, but despite knowing that our cat was definitely upset to be there and was likely giving the staff a hard time, we felt confident that they really cared about us and him.
