My husband adopted a 5 year old male cat named Louie. He is an absolute sweetheart, his original name was Christian Gray, his new and permanent name is Albus Dumbledore, he is a dream cat, he is the embodiment of chill. Thank you to the Lancaster team who is there taking care of these sweet fur babies everyday. 🫶❤️

The humane league of Lancaster is filled with such sweet compassionate people. When I had to go through an unfortunate time of needing to put my aggressive dog to rest, they provided me resources on what to do to help. I will never forget their kind comforting words during this hard time.

Took my boy here today to get fixed today and they treated him like a king! I could tell that he was loved! The staff today were all warm and welcoming and I definitely felt safe leaving him here! Oh and they let him bring the spring with him that he’s obsessed with! 10/10 recommend :)

My boyfriend and I adopted Lil corn 🌽 shown here. The staff is very kind friendly and caring. All concerns and questions addressed. Visiting with corn was very comfortable and we fell in love right away. Highly recommend Lancaster humane league to adopt your next furry pet 🐾 ❤

I saw online a little forlorn Yorkshire Terrier mix stray available. I was ready to adopt after losing my dachshund after 13 yrs. I needed to fill the hole left in my heart. Application online and approved and I raced to meet him. Greeting me was this tiny black pooch with the sweetest face. I was smitten. Staff very friendly and helpful. With follow ups from them to make sure all was well with the two of us exploring discovery together. All is well!!! Thankyou!!

Was a very good place. Both my dogs came from there. Asher my 2 yr old American Bulldog Pitt mix came from Berks and my new 4 yr old Pitt King came from Lancaster..
