love this hospital! All the doctors are so great with my aloof Aussie . Dr Bauman & Dr Hall are amazing when it comes to a dog like him. Dr Bauman gets on a more personal level with him and comes with such a gentle approach that eases the stress. Dr Hall gives playful vibes that my dog loves! Given our history with previous vets, it’s so great to find a great team of veterinarians and technicians that come to my boy with such a gentle approach and of course some good snacks to make a quick friend!! They really do all they can to ensure the best care for your pet, especially when you have a pet who gets random GI upset, knowing I can count on the ladies at the front & the doctors to help squeeze me in and get my meds ready in a timely manner. They also allow happy visits here. you can just bring in your dog to just sit, get weight (if you please), to help your dog feel more relaxed coming in so it’s not always vaccines and getting looked at every time! He always makes way though to find the hospital manager. I guess she gives the best booty scratches around!! He also loves to check in with the reception to see if they have any good snacks lol

I can’t say enough good things about this vet. I have birds and there are two big challenges with caring for them - 1) they hide illness well so once you notice it is an emergency 2) there are very few avian vets in the area. VCA Bridgeport has avian vet Dr Hall who has been so accommodating in fitting my birds into a very packed schedule, and still giving them his full attention. The vet techs and front desk employees are also empathetic, accommodating, and understanding. Thank you for all you do!

My experiences with VCA Bridgeport have exceeded expectations! They have a phenomenal team that truly cares ❤️ I’ve seen Dr. Bauman on a few occasions and he is warm and personable. Dr. Hall is also great! They work hard to get me in last minute and always follow up after my visit, which means so much to me. Their Hospital Manager always makes a point to say hi when I’m there too, which is so nice. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this animal hospital!

My family has been using the Bridgeport office for a least 50 yrs (I believe since it's start way before it became VCA). I have never had a bad visit. The care and concern for my pets - amazing!

I am a real customer of VCA & recommend the business. If I'm being honest, I don't even know where to start with VCA Bridgeport. I picture myself as the teacher in A Christmas Story writing A + + + + + + + + + + + + across their walls because that's how it kinda feels rating their office. Yep, it's a busy office & with good reason. First and foremost, the staff works unbelievably hard, and they are such compassionate, animal-loving humans. Most importantly, as someone who worships her pets, I trust the expertise of the staff. They always make me feel at ease when I'm in a tizzy over my fur babies. They shower my dogs with hugs & kisses too; their dedication & genuine compassion go a very long way. Cindy, Kristin, Stephanie, Anna, and Kathleen are incredible assets to the VCA office. The veterinarians also don't beat around the bush. Dr. Hall has gone over all options of treatments before we choose one; he has called me with good news & also terrible news. His bedside manner is bona fide authentic & kind. I don't have a bird, but from what I understand, Dr. Hall is a phenomenal Avian veterinarian. Dr. Bauman explains thoroughly & even got down on the floor to play with my pups. Dr. Bennett, Dr. Burke have all been amazing vets. The facility is clean & my pups actually enjoy going to the vet. This location does not have boarding. But it has a nice big parking lot. There is also a grassy knoll for your pet to go potty before visiting the Dr. Beware of the squirrels if your dog is anything like Doug in UP *squirrel*

We love this hospital! We always feel taken care of. We used to live very close, and now we live 30 minutes away, and we still drive to this vet office! The staff are wonderful. The receptionist helped us by entertaining our daughter while we were going through a tough time with our dog. The vet was so kind and patient (as he always is) while we made our tough decision. We still have another dog, and we will continue to drive here. Thank you for all you do. ❤️
