Dr.heather was so great with our senior baby, Darla who is 13 years old & had a softball size cyst removed. She was very helpful & informative, and you can trust her with your fur babies!! The whole team there is amazing as well, they did several follow up calls after the surgery to ensure Darla’s health❤️❤️❤️ thank you Gate City Animal Hospital 🫶🏻.! We have been going to Gate City Animal Hospital since 1997. We have entrusted Dr. Andress and Dr. Curran with the care of our dogs over the last 26 years. The whole practice is dedicated to superb customer service, making sure the pet owners feel at ease, and, most importantly, giving the best care to each and every pet. I would never trust my 12 year old lab, Maxwell to anyone else.

We just started taking our new cat to the Gate City Animal Hospital. It came highly recommended by a friend. All of the staff at Gate City seem very friendly and obviously love the 4-legged creatures they service. They are also sensitive to the needs of the pets' "parents". The doctor and technician who did an exam of our cat were very knowledgeable and had cats of their own, so they could appreciate our questions and concerns. They are also very efficient but don't rush through their work.

My dog cut her leg on a thorn or something on her daily run chasing rabbits. Gate City let me bring her in the same day to get stitches so I didn't have to take her to an expensive emergency vet. I appreciate this. This is the reason I switched to Gate City, my other vet would not take an emergency once because they said they were too busy. The staff at Gate City are great and I love the Vets. They are truly caring and want the best for our babies.

This was the first time we had used grooming services at Gate City Hospital, and we were very very pleased. Bailey is a very long haired Maltese mix, and she looks beautiful and fluffy. She smells amazing. James had her ready in less than the estimated time, I was very pleased, and will definitely be going there again

I love how they took care of my cat. They were gentle with her, kind, and gave her lots of love after her procedure. They did a great job at cleaning her teeth and removing the ones they needed to. They also took before, during and after pictures of the procedure and included it in her file. They called me to check on her the following day. All around this is a wonderful Animal Hospital.
