We recently brought our dog here after making the decision to change vets. We are so glad we did! In just 1 month since her first visit, she has an increase in activity, she is losing weight, and she is much lethargic, almost to the point where I’d say it’s almost no longer a symptom. All because they listened, and reviewed her previous exams and started her on medication for her thyroid immediately. This is our second success story. Our grand-pup, Yogi was hit by a car, Thanksgiving 2022. After a long night in the ER, we didn’t know if he would make it. We brought him here to see his doctor the next day. The positive attitude and faith that the doctors had, that he would heal from a broken vertebrae, with just pain meds and home therapy, is what we needed to get through that difficult time. He was not able to walk, let alone run or jump, right after the accident. After months of rehab at home, along with laser and water treadmill therapy, he is back to fast mischievous Yogi we all love. He’ll always have a quirk, sliding into home plate…but even when his hind legs go soft, it doesn’t slow him down.
My 7 year old Rottweiler has been going to this location, since he was 10 weeks old, for vaccines, injuries, and the last few years for baths and nail trims; he is very dog aggressive and retail grooming environments create stress for him and the other dogs, especially when sitting in a kennel surrounded by other dogs so the vet is the better choice. Since changing to All Creatures, there has been a radical difference, around customer service, when inside the establishment. I understand staffing issues, but the last few pick ups have taken at least 20+ minutes because there’s always only one person upfront, no matter the time, it seems. And if they are on the phone or there are others in the lobby, there doesn’t seem to be a process to ask for help from the back, like when it was Animal Ark or Brassfield, and it’s really frustrating. Nonetheless, at this pick up today, the lady upfront did not acknowledge that we were there and waiting, while on the phone with a prospective client. And when she turned, it wasn’t with a smile or friendliness. After 10 minutes, when I walked around to motion we were in a hurry, she rolled her eyes and continued talking to the prospective client on the phone. I get you are on the phone, but is there really a problem with asking the person, on the phone, to hold for a moment, while you ask someone to assist the customer(s) standing upfront? She gets off the phone, no apologies or anything, which is fine, and I ask why it took over five hours for my Rottweiler, who I dropped off at 8 AM, to get a bath and nail trim this time (from a place of curiosity). I was met with another hostile response on the boarders being walked, fed and bathed first, baths not starting till 930a … which is perfectly fine but if I’d been aware of that, as I’ve been called to pick him up by 1030a before, I wouldn’t drop him off that early when that’s the reason I don’t take him to retail grooming locations. She stated going to check on someone bringing him but didn’t return to give me the receipt she’d printed. Plus the lady bringing him up didn’t smile, thank you, bye nothing, when I said “thank you” either which has never been the case until today … so I will be searching for another institution to take care of my boy and soon to be new puppy. Customer service does affect my decisions on services and providers, especially when the services and costs are comparable elsewhere.
Outstanding through and through. This clinic is one of a kind - we called this morning with my daughter's beloved pet mouse struggling to breathe and clearly unwell. They worked us right in and Dr. Daniel, Emily and Mariah all were kind, warm, empathetic, welcoming, sensitive and helped my 13 year old daughter who was devastated to feel heard and validated. While our poor Louis crossed the rainbow bridge this morning (4 years old - like 100 in mouse years) - we will never forget the way we were treated by the entire staff. What an incredible asset to have in our community. Thank you Dr. Daniel, Emily, Mariah and everyone at All Creatures. ❤️
My English Pointers face started swelling on Sunday, so I contacted All Creatures first thing on Monday and they worked me in. From the time I got there, the staff was friendly and very attentive to my needs and answered all my questions and concerns. They sent me home with antibiotics and pain medicine and scheduled for me to bring him back on Thursday for xrays and dental surgery. Make a long story short, I am very impressed on how I was treated. They are friendly, professional, and go out of their way to provide excellent service. Also, there prices are very reasonable compared to other vets in this city. I highly recommend All Creatures Veterinary Hospital to anyone who needs a vet. They are outstanding!!
My friend recommended this vet to me some 10 years ago. I have brought all of my fur babies here and will never go anywhere else. Here you can find the most caring, helpful, informative, and attentive staff. I am always at ease knowing I have such an amazing place to bring my pets to. Never in 10 years have I had a bad experience here. I’ve never been pushed toward any unnecessary procedures and they will do their very best to accommodate any situation you’re in and get you in as soon as possible. Nothing but good things to say here. The very best vet!
The staff here are phenomenal. We had to say goodbye to our cockatiel today after a long 18 years. It was such a hard choice but this veterinary office helped comfort us throughout the entire process. From the phone calls to understand the cost and process, to a special room all set aside to make people and their pets comfortable- they took special care with each step. They even get you footprints to take home as a memory (I didn’t think it was possible with a bird!). Thank you tech Emily. Thank you Dr. Daniels. Thank you incredibly kind front office staff. You helped us feel informed, supported, and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to a loved little bird. Best experience I’ve ever had going through one of the toughest things.
