Dr. Halvorson and her staff are helpful, kind, and very skilled! I brought in my new cat unsure of how he would behave, and they did an excellent job handling him. I am new to pet ownership, and they answered all my questions and gave me lots of advice. Thank you for going above and beyond Dr. Halvorson!

Dr. Shine is amazing with my two senior Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Winston and Rosie! They love it here. The facility is bright and clean, has a nice waiting area, and lots of helpful handouts for new pet moms like me.

Staff is condescending. They barely said 2 words to me. They prescribed and gave me a spray to use on my cat. I checked the ingredients and raised my concerns. They said that the spray was save to use on cats. As soon as I applied it, my cats mouth started foaming and he threw up a LOT. I called them immediately and they said I could bring him back but there would be a visit charge. They said they didn’t think that he would lick the spray. Do they understand cats????? I’m never bringing my cat there again.

Great staff! It's nice to have a standalone location closer to home. Dr. Shine was great with our kitties during their checkup. Even though one was difficult with giving blood, they got it done and everything was great! They even showed us around and the set up is wonderful! The reassurance of having the Wellness Plan is nice that it covers office visits and so much more!

I highly recommend this veterinarian. The staff and the doctor are not only professional but also compassionate and accommodating. I took a street cat in for an assessment and they were careful and kind with him. He was malnourished and dehydrated. The vet gave me a care schedule for him. I brought the same cat back for euthanasia after his underlying condition overtook him and they got us in same day and made the transition as transparent, peaceful and inclusive as possible for both me and my cat. The vet remembered us. She was super gentle with my cat. The woman who checked us in/out gave me a hug on the way out. Their rates are reasonable and the service is outstanding. ❤️ thank you for making a tough situation a bit softer to go through.

I have been to multiple Banfield hospitals in different states, and this is by far been the best one!!! I recommend this to everyone with pets. They were so invested in my cat’s health when he got sick and were excellent at communicating all of his needs. Banfield truly went above and beyond!!! I am grateful to have found my veterinary home in New Orleans!
