I’ve only visited once. But this place seems to be doing a really good work at getting homeless kittens off the streets and into loving homes! They even have several precious little kittens roaming the store, so when you go, please watch your step; they’re so tiny and so quiet. I bought several toys and a blanket for my cat. And so far, he has enjoyed both. My heart is for kittens/cats, so the fact that they do well for them earns them a 5 star rating in my book! The included photo is of my cat enjoying a lazy Sunday afternoon on his new blanket.

This great little pet store/rescue sanctuary for tiny furry babies is amazing! Its nice to have a pet store so close to the French Quarter and they are welcoming and so nice and so many sweet babies that run around the store. If having a bad day just walk in and there is always kittens wanting to give you purrr therapy.

Don’t waste your time trying to adopt from here. They have TERRIBLE customer service. First when you walk into the store, the Caucasian man that works there is rude and standoffish and claims he doesn’t have any answers to any questions about adoption. You would think someone who works with kittens for a living would be pleasant and kind. Then when you submit an application they just stop responding! They give you the runaround no matter how many calls or texts or how much information you provide! Biggest waste of time. My recommendation if you want to adopt a kitten is to go to Metairie Kittens. Anastasia is extremely responsive, and helpful and they have beautiful kittens and their adoption process is quick and straightforward, no games and no lapses in communication! (just make sure you’re over the age of 26 if going here.) And if you still want to adopt here, just put as little information as possible on your application to streamline the process, definitely don’t put any information about previously owned pets. They will waste your time going back and forth with you over old information like which vet you went to, and don’t ever mention if you previously gave a pet away when adopting, they will use it against you!
