Been waiting 3 weeks for an estimate for surgery. Absolutely ridiculous wait times for an ESTIMATE. There is NO way it should take the office staff 3 weeks to deliver an estimate... hopefully my dog doesn't experience any side effects from having to wait so long. Will be moving to another facility who is better organized.

I found SB Animal Hospital about 5 years ago through Groupon. I knew that I found a gem and a great fit for my pet’s veterinary care immediately after our first visit. And I’ve been loyally brining Mila ever since, mostly for routine care (examination, vaccines, heart-worm testing, etc.). However, for the first time, Mila needed a more serious procedure done - a mass removal (which was fairly recent). All I could say is that hroughout the whole process, I really got a feel for what the SB animal hospital team was made of! Everyone was so supportive and caring. The whole staff, from reception, to the vet techs, to the vets, is very knowledgeable and truly there to help you and your fur baby along the way. Mila and I feel so grateful for such a great vet team. Thank you for all that you do!

South Broward had a wonderful Groupon Special for $109. covering an exam, rabies & bortadella, dpt, influenza vaccines, heart worm test fecal exam, microchip and more. I received multiple emails from South Broward to return for a second 6 months bortadella shop. My husband and I bothh asked at our 1st appt if it would be included or if there was an extra charge.. We were told there was no extra charge. We saw another vet for a post op exam the day we went to South Broward for our 2nd bortadella shot and I told them that we had just seen a vet for Lily's spay-post op exam and did not need another vet We were charged $75.99 for a brief exam, bortadella 6 month vaccine and biohazard fee.

Terrible experience. Came in with my dog for a scratch and some diarrhea and was pressured and scared into thinking he might have a parasite and needed fecal tests and all this medication. The test came back negative obviously and was charged almost $300 for medication and exam fees. Huge scam! They make you feel like a bad owner if you try to refuse any of the doctor’s recommendations and they didn’t even treat the wound but sent me home with an ointment to do it myself. Never going back here.
