They were so helpful and caring for the adoption of our two precious kitties in July 2023. We were able to meet several pairs of kittens until we met our forever kitties! They were already vax’d, spayed/neutered, chipped and socialized! The kittens were already litter box trained at 3 months! We are forever grateful to Simply Cats for their dedication and handling of our fur babies! Truly the best shelter and staff!

Simply Cats is a fantastic cageless, no-kill cat shelter that is near and dear to my heart. My high schooler needed volunteer hours for school, so we decided to be enrichment volunteers at Simply Cats. What better way to spend those hours than to play with and help socialize homeless cats in preparation for adoption? Three years later I have over 300 volunteer hours there because I love it so much! It's also where we adopted our sweet 9-year-old boy, Sammie in 2020. First, the facility is amazing. All adoption rooms have a clean indoor area filled with soft beds, high shelves (for climbing), cubbies (for snoozing), toys and scratching surfaces. Most rooms also have a cat door leading to an outdoor "catio." The catio allows the cats to be outside in a safe, contained area where they can watch the birds in the birdfeeders placed outside each room. Some cats love it and others don't, but they get a choice which is awesome. Between the indoor and outdoor areas, there is a lot of space within each room for the cats to be cats which sets Simply Cats apart from most shelters. Second, each cat has undergone an assessment at intake and has been assigned a "feline-ality" which is general idea of their temperament. This assignment is posted with each cat's name and age on the white board in each adoption room. So, when looking for a feline friend at Simply Cats, the minute you walk into an adoption room you can clearly see who is in the room and what their "feline-ality" is. The goal at Simply Cats is to find each cat a loving, permanent home and the "feline-ality" process is a big part of that when matching adoptees with potential adopters. "Feline-alities" are also available on the website alongside a photo of each cat so you can do your homework before visiting. Lastly, the staff at Simply Cats is just incredible! They are cat (and all animal) lovers who are invested and committed to making sure each cat finds their perfect match in a furever home. The staff and volunteers and facility are what make Simply Cats special. If you are considering adoption please give Simply Cats a try. Simply Cats is the gold standard for animal rescue facilities. Truly an incredible organization! Jordan is so very sweet. The veterinarian Nicole has such a huge heart. They really are such a loving bunch of people. I volunteered at Simply Cats for about a year and was so impressed by the quality of care provided to the cats. They were also very organized. I cannot say enough good things about this place!!

Wow , lied to !! I have been fostering these mommas and babys for about 5 mo . Simply cats made my intake appt. When i arrived they took them in for almost an hour! Then returned them stating the two mommas and two babies tested positive for kitty luikemia !! Devastated I had to keep them in my car the rest of my work day ! They micro chipped them and gave them worm medicine ! And stated they were unadoptable but healthy so you would not put them to sleep ! I could not believe it so I took them to the vet I use in Fruitland and they did blood test Proving negative !! SIMPLY CATS STATED I MISUNDERSTOOD 😤I have the emails! and when i asked if they would take them with a negative blood test and demanded their proof that theze cats were sick they stop taking my call , i asked for pattis boss and they wont take my call anymore !! THEY DONT CARE ABOUT CATS BEING DUMPED OR BEING SICK !!THEY CARE ABOUT FUNDING SHAME ON YOU SIMPLY CATS AND PATTI !

Wonderful no-kill shelter that truly advocates for their cats! They do a great job of socializing the kitties they care for here (both with humans and other cats!) and an even better job matching you with a cat that fits with your lifestyle. I really appreciated Erika’s expertise on each kitty we interacted with, and let us know what kind of home environments they would be most comfortable in. They make a wonderful effort here to advocate for the ideal lifestyles/needs for each cat. We adopted our sweet little Johnni from here and with their advice she is absolutely thriving. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you’re a cat lover looking for a furry companion, this is the place to go.

Simply Cats is the best shelter and adoption center for cats. It's a no kill shelter and they strive to help all the cats that come in with sicknesses or disabilities. I got 3 very special kitties over the years from them and one of my Cats has feline dwarfism. The cats are always comfortable and the rooms are kept clean. The staff is amazing! Highly recommended!
