I recently took my sick cat to Heart & Paw and I couldn't be more impressed with our experience!From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, compassionate, and attentive, making both me and my cat feel comfortable. The veterinarian took the time to thoroughly examine my sweet kitty, and addressed all my concerns with patience and expertise. The office itself was very clean and welcoming! I really appreciated the efficiency of the appointment and reasonable pricing. My cat received excellent care, and I left feeling reassured about his treatment plan. I highly recommend Heart & Paw to any pet owner looking for compassionate and professional veterinary care.

The person who answered the phone was unbelievably patient, compassionate, and helpful and made me feel comfortable during a scary, difficult situation. When I showed up—both the people I spoke with were extremely kind and helped both me and my cat feel super comfortable and cared for. They are very diligent and you can tell they care a lot. I’m sure they see so many patients and it must be hard to have so much patience (especially because I’m someone who always wants to understand everything and asks a lot of questions) but they were super informative and I felt really at ease and comfortable with the whole process. I’m very thankful for their care and would recommend based on my experience today!

They were fantastic! My cat usually hates the vet but they made her feel calm and loved. My cat could tell the vet was a cat person and wouldn't stop nuzzling her. The room was clean, they saw me on time, addressed any and all concerns, and gave me tips on how to check on my cats at home in-between vet visits. They were very upfront about costs and wouldn't go through with anything I didn't approve of. Absolutely loved the service and will be returning for the next check up.

I have been taking my dog Nyx to H+P since June 2022 when she was about 7 months old, and I truly cannot say enough about how happy I am to have found them. I take Nyx here for play, grooming, and vet services and all three are amazing. Nyx is a very anxious dog, but H+P is one of her favorite places. I feel 100% confident in leaving her there for play, and she’s completely comfortable when we come for the vet because she knows everyone there. I actually moved out of the Ballston area, but I still bring Nyx here over closer vets/daycare because of how wonderful H+P is. I’ve experienced serious concerns at the other places I’ve tried to take Nyx, but I’m very thankful to have never experienced any issues here. What I love most about this place are the people who work there. I know that the employees all genuinely care about Nyx and have her best interests at heart. De’von, Charity, Danah, and Kayleigh especially are the absolute BEST, and I’m very grateful for the care and affection they show for Nyx. De’von quickly became Nyx’s favorite person in the world (including over me) and he has truly gone above and beyond in his care for her. All the vets there have seen her and I feel equally confident in all of them; each genuinely listens and provides the best possible care and advice, regardless of why we come in. As a short-hair breed, Nyx doesn’t need any special grooming but she always come back nice and clean and I’ve never had any problems or complaints. To Heart + Paw, THANK YOU! I am not exaggerating when I say I don’t know where Nyx and I would be without them.

While visiting VA in summer, my Yorkie started making weird and scary noises (reverse sneezing) like if she weren’t able to breath 😰. I immediately called Heart + Paw and after they listened over the phone, what has happened, they squeezed me in for a a check up. Dr. Jaclyn Erwin was very king and explained it was an episode of reverse sneezing. Not need to worry about. It wasn’t life threatening and it will go away with time. Next day the Dr. called to follow up my Yorkie’s episode and even helped with some tips for future episodes, if so. Heart + paw has a Super fast, friendly, kind a caring services. 💝 My Yorkie is doing great and she is ready travel back with me. ✈️

My wife and I moved from overseas to Arlington for 6 months. I cannot express how impressed I became with Heart+Paw over that period. Bright, clean facilities. Professional, well trained, polite staff that was extremely caring and concerned for the well-being of our Labrador and elder cat. Heart+Paw went above and beyond in helping us get both pets medically fit for overseas travel again, not to mention all the paperwork.We used their daycare services for our dog every other week, and we occasionally used their grooming services for the dog (and once for the cat). Truly phenomenal experiences. I recommend Heart+Paw to anyone, with any pet. Without hesitation or equivocation.
