Dirty Little Paws is a fantastic organization to find your furever pet! After I lost my cat of 17 years, it was hard for me to imagine finding another animal who I could love as much as I loved Bowie but they worked with me to help me find the perfect companion. They were so patient, informative and responsive with me as I inquired about different cats. You can truly tell that everyone who is part of their organization is so passionate about animals and making sure that each one has an opportunity to thrive in its perfect home. Not to mention that they also dedicate their time to ensuring the cats who are still on the street are neutered/spayed AND fed weekly. I will be forever grateful to Dirty Little Paws for introducing me to my little lover Stevie! He is such a doll and brings so much joy to my life every single day.

When looking to adopt a cat, I tried the usual things such as shelters and cat cafes. This wasn’t working out too well because it was hard to get a true sense of the cats in these environments. I wanted a match — a cat that picked me as much as I picked her. I learned about Dirty Little Paws from a foster I had met, and so I checked out the cats they had available for adoption using PetFinder. I was looking for a bonded pair and was really impressed when I received a message back so soon after submitting an application. The owner, Kat, called me and during that conversation told me that the pair I picked wasn’t right for me but she had two other pairs that would be much better. Her ability to figure this out with the information I put on the application was amazing!! Fast forward a few days when I went to meet the first pair — she was absolutely right. It was the perfect match. Kat was very thorough when interviewing me, asking hard but important questions. I was super impressed by her. I was also really impressed with the foster and adoption coordinator, Lena, who made it super easy to meet the cats at the foster home, and made the adoption process fun and effortless. The person fostering was another wonderful person, and I’m still in touch with her sharing photos of the kitties, and chatting about the cats she is fostering now. It is like I found a supportive community vs just picking out a cat and driving home. I cannot say enough — Dirty Little Paws has all the resources you need to have a successful adoption, including post-adoption follow up and support. I recommend this business 100%.

This organization is amazing. I've never seen people so concerned about the welfare of cats. They absolutely go out of their way to take care of cats’ health, feed them, foster them, rehome them, including helping feral cats. The founder is the nicest person too.

I have followed DLP on Instagram for over a year in hopes of one day adopting a second cat. After time and consideration, we connected with DLP after coming across a sweet girl on their Instagram. From the moment we submitted the application to taking her home, they were so helpful and truly cared about the wellbeing of the cat! All vaccines, microchipping, spays, and vet visits prior to adoption are covered by the adoption fees. We had an incredible experience and I would definitely recommend adopting from DLP!

This was a horrible experience. After getting approved by Kat, Yelena called and told us we could pick up my kitten the next day. She hooked me up with Bethany...but apparently didn't tell Bethany or Kat what she told me. After difficulty making arrangements with Bethany who lived ~45 min [posting said 7 miles] away, she reluctantly agreed to meet the next morning after a court date we had downtown. Tremendously convenient saving us another hour and a 1/2 of driving and traffic to and from Tremendously convenient saving us another hour and a 1/2 of driving and traffic to and from...... Do it all at once. As we were driving Bethany's only minutes away, she canceled saying she already left bc "work complications" We were taken at a back at the sudden cancelation and calledYelena who was busy.. So we decided to wait since we were right there hoping something could be worked out since we were right there; when we arrived she was still home. We called again to Yelena and Kat to see what to do as we wanted to save another 45 min up and back trip. As we waited, people came to Bethany's door and she eventually left with a man. Still no calls from Yelena or Kat. We sent a pic so show she was still there. In the meantime Bethany texted us more "untruths." No calls us back the rest of the day. fast forward to the next day the owner calls accuses us of stalking bc we showed up [during the arranged time] told her what we witnessed Bethany doing *(basically lying every which way about everything---- from it wasn't her we saw open the door, she "was already gone," to we "weren't supposed to pick up" the cat ) An absolute nightmare and no communication between the 3 parties and absolutely no consideration for the adoptive parents. And then to be accused of being a stalker and being unhinged because we didn't like being lied to and inconvenienced. We even made offers to meet at the veterinarian's appointment Bethany had for the kittens the next day to be spayed But by this time the owner Kat-- who also accused us of lying as well that we weren't supposed to pick up the cat when Yelena had told us that we could. And calling us stalkers and unhinged because we showed up at the address with the high hopes of being able to rescue this Kitty.... Only doing what had been discussed by the president Kat and her representative who had made the arrangements with us to pick up the cat that dsy, foster it and have it spayed at their San Marcus veterinarian. It's totally bizarre and to have the complete circumstances flipped On to us as though we weren't the trust worthy ones, As though we were doing something wrong, As though we were the ones acting without integrity. It's just unbelievableThat basically the dishonesty that was put forth by the foster home and the inconsiderate That all of these parties were projecting was Directed at us and resulted in the kitty not having a blessed forever home. We have rescued over 7 cats in our life and never have had an experience like this. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing....... I would highly recommend going elsewhere to adopt your kitties....... And God have mercy on the little kitties that are there being handled by these people Who project all of their shortcomings and disorganization elsewhere at the expense of homeless kitties.
