Dr. John is a wonderful vet and very personable, however the front end staff are a different story. I have been taking my dog to this clinic for a year now and every encounter with the front end staff has been a negative one. Very rude and unfriendly. Also initial prices quoted for services are much less than final payment expected. Today was the last straw. Once again the front end crew was rude and unfriendly. I won’t be going back. The 5 stars is for Dr. John’s services only which is what is important however an initial impression upon entering the clinic is just as important if they want repeat customers! Less than 1 star for reception area crew.

All the vets we have dealt with at Shelley Drive have been great. Today though, Dr. Noor went above and beyond to take care of our dog. We appreciate you so much!

I drive from Lindale to Shelley's in Tyler because it is the absolute best animal clinic in east Texas. Dr. Twomi and Dr. Maris; and, all staff are fantastic and can be trusted with our babies. I have taken my pooches to them for 12 years.

Very affordable and caring veterinary clinic. Lisa is so amazing and helpful! All the vets are kind and patient. They have taken such good care of my fur babies. Highly recommend!

I love this place. Vet staff are so good and I would honestly recommend this place to anyone (and I do). It really feels like the vet’s and nurses (assistants?) really care about you and your pets and I have never felt so welcomed when it comes to them. I had to go to another vet in Tyler for a farm animal (they were the only place that treated chickens) and the difference is night and day. Shelly drive animal clinic is really great and really stands out with how compassionate and friendly they are. The only downside is the receptionists. This would be a 5 star if not for them. I’ve been going to this place for years and I don’t plan on leaving, but honestly the receptionists are so beyond rude it affects the whole experience and It makes me nervous every time I have an appointment. When I recommend this place I have to say, you should definitely go to this place they are amazing, but the receptionists are terrible so try to ignore them. It seems like they don’t care about you, your situation, or your pet. I have pretty bad anxiety and if my pet is hurt or stressed out I feel even more stressed out, the receptionists just make it worse because they make me feel like no matter what I’m doing I’m a bad pet owner and I’m wasting their time. Even if it’s just a check up. I don’t plan on switching vet’s because the other people there are fantastic and I’ve never felt more welcome at a vet with them, but something seriously needs to be done about the receptionists.

I could not be happier with the quality of service. I brought a stray in that had a fish hook in her mouth and the receptionists, vet techs, and doctor were all such a huge help. They were able to take care of the dog in a very quick and gentle way and it was the best experience I've ever had at a vet's office. Just wonderful.
