Adopted a dog named doug. He is amazing. The genteel man that helped us was kind and genuinely cared about the dogs. I will donate food every two weeks to help them out and i hope to adopt another dog someday soon.

I had an appointment to turn in a stray dog I had for 4 days. I walk in 10 min before my appointment and no one addressed me. I approached the small desk in the middle of the room with an older lady sitting there. I had told her I have an appointment to drop of a stray dog I found. She asked if I was there to see the vet? I said no I’m here to drop off a stray. She asked if I had an appointment. I said yes I do. She told me okay they will call you. I asked if I should sit inside or if they need me to wait in my car. She said wherever they’ll call or send you a message. I went back to my car. Waited 10 min after the appointment before I went back in to ask for an update. I asked if I needed to sign in so they know I’m there. She said no they will call you. I stated I don’t want them to think I’m not here. So she went to the back, came back and said they will be with you as soon as they can. 45 min after my appointment I decided to go up to another person at the windows. She told me I was supposed to sign in and couldn’t find my name in their system for the appointment. After 5 min they finally call someone and tell me to wait. Luckily a couple minutes later someone came out to grab the dog.

Their is one person that hurts animals and people Paula Powell is that person no one in their right mind should trust a lier that hurts animals who would even trust her with them? Wake up el paso fight for the animals rights remove this lier!

They have alot of dogs, cats, even a rabbit for adoption or fostering. So many beautiful fur babies, it's sad that some will never get their forever homes. The wait was long and tiring. Then to find out the kittens we wanted were not adoptable because they were only 2 weeks old. The staff was friendly but were overwhelmed because the place was very busy, couldn't answer our questions, so had to wait.

This so called shelter is leaving unaltered unvaccinated strays on the streets only to create more strays and more disease time to remove Ramon Herrera and upper management they are a complete and utter failure
