The doctors and nurses here are amazing. God bless these people, and I’m not really religious. My dog had a neck injury and lost movement to her right leg so I brought her in to see what was going on. They attended to her, put her through the proper care and my baby is almost 100%!! It’s a process but I’m sure she will be back to normal. Great experience with this clinic. Thank you to everyone there.
This review is for those parents who are considering bringing their pet here during after hours, because this “care center” clearly does not care about patients experiences. I guess there’s a reason the negative feedback below mine doesn’t get addressed. Not a good look. I brought my pet here after hours as she was having issues with her leg and mobility. We were told they had x amount of emergencies and 6 walk-ins ahead and it would be about 2-3 hours of wait. We were recommended to go home and we would get a text when one patient was ahead. We went home and nearly 3 hours later, received said text so we drove from horizon back to the far east. When we arrived to the parking lot, we received a text confirming that the last patience’s appointment was completed and they were cleaning up and would let us know when to come in. We waited for an hour. Went inside to inquire on what was going on due to the last text we received. The person at the desk was different from earlier and seemed confused on what was going on. She said something along the lines of “ well I just got here”. She then said that they had additional emergencies walk in and someone else was ahead of us in line ( Despite the text we received stating we were next ) and also that patients were waiting on labs so that would take additional time for the vet to go over and ultimately see us. Emergencies are emergencies, we get it. But why wasn’t that communicated with us? We spent a total of 4 hours waiting and then to get told “ oh well it was a miscommunication “ was extremely upsetting, given that our pet was in big discomfort and the “service” we received was not great. We had to go to another vet and got an xray done to see what was going on and it confirmed why she was in pain. Had we had gotten seen as planned, she could’ve been on her pain medication sooner and could’ve been comfortable sooner. All this to say that if you’re in a bind and are considering this place, don’t do it. I’d try a different vet. There’s tons of reviews about wait time, death and other horrible experiences that go unaddressed. I’m just grateful we got the help we needed from a DIFFERENT establishment.
I'm so glad I chose Far East Animal Care when my cat needed to go to the vet late last night. For an emergency after hours visit the prices were very fair. Dr. Brandi and all of the staff were all so kind and patient with us while we made some difficult choices. They took good care of Soupie and I will always be thankful to them for that. ❤
Such an amazing place!! When I entered, the first receptionist that attended me was rude and sassy, but everyone else... the sweetest and kindest people I have ever met at the vet. Dr. Rachel(might have spelled wrong) was so sweet, kind, and really cared about my baby. The assistants really took care of our baby and was holding my dog with so much care. We have found our new vet🤩❤️
You can get rabies shot cheaper else where, but they do have vaccines at discounted price on weekends. And they do take walk ins. Anti biotics trip was slightly cheaper here for a pup at 73 dollars for the visit
My husband and I are still new to this area and decided to use Far East Animal Care Center as a reliable place for our cats. For a bit, I thought highly of them and even applied to work here. A couple weeks ago, we were here almost every night for my cat Luna who was sick. They kept telling us, she was fine and giving her medication that did not help. On our last trip there after an X-ray that had claimed to find something in her intestines, (which thankfully had passed) we asked the vet if Luna started to do poorly, should we bring her back and he straight up told us no she was fine. The next day she started declining and we ended up at an emergency vet Hospital and after a 48 hour observation was diagnosed with Gastroenteritis and improved under their care. Far East Animal Care Center tried telling us bloody stool, vomiting only bile and no appetite was FINE and she was just struggling to adjust to her new home. I refuse to ever bring my animals here and believe that if we hadn’t gone somewhere else she would have died. We didn’t deserve to be treated like a Cash grab and should feel ashamed for the distress you caused myself and my husband!
