As a client of over a year. DSD has been life changing for our family. This amazing, compassionate and talented team of individuals don’t just train service dogs, they train people who need help to train their dogs for their specific needs. This allows clients to gain precious independence and as a by product, confidence and self reliance. This team cares about the dogs and the people in their program and go above and beyond to ensure safety for everyone involved. Sometimes that means setting boundaries that people may not understand. As a lifetime dog owner this has been an eye opener for me, I think the most appropriate phrase is I didn’t know what I didn't know! But that is OK because this amazing team helps us every step of the way and we are beyond grateful!

The whole Domino Service Dogs team has been extremely helpful and as nice as can be with regard to helping me train my massive Great Dane. From the application process to the dog interview, everything was straightforward. I just started classes with my puppy, but I can already tell the experience and training will be invaluable. Had a TERRIBLE encounter with someone at their “booth” today at a community event. This lady completely forgot how to be a decent human being and decided it would be great to ATTACK my dog for literally existing around her service dog. She freaked out for NO REASON because my dog was walking comfortably on loose lead right next to me (ON THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE SIDE OF HER AMD HER DOG!!) . As a vet nurse, dog trainer and dog advocate this was ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY. My dog was in a perfect heel right next me and is completely unbothered by other dogs (i trained him to be like this). Didn’t even get close to her dog. This was absolutely disgusting behavior for someone representing your company. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND people stay away from this business if everyone is going to be SNOBS.

This is an amazing place and a true community treasure. DSD helps owners to train service dogs through weekly classes and monthly or bi-monthly outings. The trainers are absolute experts, use humane training techniques, and know how to train humans as well as dogs. My family has been working with them since Summer 2020 and we are so happy with all their help. Training a dog is challenging, but I am so glad we chose DSD for this program. They are understanding and accommodating of disabilities (as all such places should be), and they offer the support we need to accomplish great things.
