THESE are the people you want taking care of your fur baby. I couldn't afford what other vets were charging for a routine procedure, so I found 4 Paws. After reading some of the reviews I was a little nervous, but decided to at least check them out. No, their clinic is not the most glamorous BUT I felt so comfortable the minute I walked in. All the staff are incredibly friendly and it is SO obvious that they truly care about your pet more than they do their wallets. They heard my concerns and answered all my questions. My dogs LOVED them. I even felt comfortable telling them about my anxiety surrounding the negative reviews and instead of becoming defensive, they offered to show me around the operating area. My dog is doing fantastic after the procedure, and I truly can't thank them enough.

I want to give more than two stars. I really do. But this place has really gone down hill. I recently called them to see if they have any availability in the next couple of days to see my dog for a minor ear infection. The woman who answered the phone was rude and immediately told me "no" and that I should find a different vet clinic to take my dog to because he is overdue for his annual vaccines anyway. She didn't even bother addressing the problem I called about or letting me know when their next available time is. Dr. Kim Landin was recommended to me by a family member who has been bringing their dogs here for years and years. She has seen my dogs before, and I've generally had positive experiences with her. The younger vet (Dr. Kim's daughter), however, has been rude and judgy in my experience. Very pushy with unnecessary vaccinations and procedures!!! My dogs are healthy, happy, and well taken care of and no one wants to hear her snarky, unprofessional comments. Thanks 4 Paws! I did call another vet and they were sympathetic and scheduled me for the following day :) Way to push customers away. I won't be coming back here.

It’s been some time since I’ve been to 4!paws but I have a lot of animals and this has been by far the best experience I’ve had at a vets! I had to put my dog down a few years back. I live alone and my dogs have always been a big part of my life. Losing Riley was the turn of the century for me and 4 paws really made a world of difference in taking care of her and me at such a critical time!

We have been coming to 4 Paws Animal Clinic since we first had our puppy join the family! They have been great no matter what kind of appointment you are scheduling. Very quick service, efficient, and reasonably priced! They can even get you in the same day if you animal is sick or in need. Highly recommend.

Embarrassedly rude service when trying to obtain an adopted pet’s records. I was appalled at the lack of professionalism. As a vet clinic, I would expect you to love animals & for their lives to be taken seriously.

I brought my dog to this vet after he was struggling with lots of gastro issues and the regular vet we were going to was charging a lot for fecal sample analysis, so I wanted to find a less costly alternative. Now I understand you get what you pay for. My dog used to love going to the vet, hop right up on the scale, wag his tail and love everyone, scrambling to get into the exam room to meet a new friend. He was tentative entering this building the first time we went, but I encouraged him to come in. I wish I had listened to him. I came here with my dog twice, I can’t remember what happened at which visit but will summarize my overall impressions and memories of what occurred. I know that during both visits we waited for nearly an hour in an exam room that felt pretty run down, chipping paint, etc. During one visit the Vet tech came in and my dog was clearly nervous, whining and pacing and tail kinda between his legs. She walked right up to him and said she needs to check his teeth and stuck her fingers right in his mouth ignoring his body language trying to get away. He snapped at her, which freaked me out because until then my dog had never snapped at anyone. She and the other tech then forced a muzzle on him. During another visit I could hear the vet outside the room having conflict with one of her employees about not even wanting to do the appt or something which made me feel weird. They did squeeze us in as a last minute appt due to my concern for my dogs ongoing diarrhea which I appreciated, but also I thought was kind of a standard built in thing for a vet when a dog is having an urgent concern to keep open spots for walk ins. When the vet came in she seemed bored and uninterested when I was trying to explain my dogs issue and history and kind of hurriedly ended up taking him away from me in the back to “collect an additional stool sample” (reached into his butt). My dog has never been the same since. Now I only take him back to the old certified fear free vet that is more expensive, but unfortunately he is traumatized and I have had to muzzle train him and put the muzzle on him for all vet visits now. He is triggered by seeing people with stethoscopes around their necks and he runs away and tries to hide behind me. He has to be sedated for any kind of procedure, won’t even let anyone touch his body anywhere unless they sit on the floor and don’t go near him for 25 min first (which they do at the good fear free vets). It’s really sad. I feel like this place means well but just has no clue what they are doing really / have outdated practices and don’t think about the dog’s needs, sensitivities or potential negative outcomes of their practices whatsoever. It also took 20+ minutes to finish up and pay at the front desk. They don’t do anything to try to ensure dogs have space from each other in the lobby. Not sure why it took so long to get the invoice but my dog was freaked out and wanted to get out of there super bad. There is also a cat that like lives in the lobby and that kinda spooked my dog too. Doesn’t seem professional for a vet office to have loose animal wandering around without any kind of warning or indication in advance for people/pets coming there for the first time, even if it is a chill cat I think it was another thing that made my dog more nervous going in there. The lobby is huge they could easily put up some barriers or something so that animals don’t have to just sit there and stare at each other while they smell the fear in that place. Also the front desk staff were always nice but sometimes lacked common sense, would try to hand me things when I had my hands full trying to manage my panicked 80lb dog wanting to escape when they didn’t even need to hand me things yet because the rest of the paperwork or whatever wasn’t even ready yet. Just overall odd, unprofessional, and traumatizing for my dog. Would not recommend.
