I’ve worked here for over 2 years now starting as cat care and transitioned to socialization. The staff and energy here is great. These kitties are in good hands and it’s always great seeing a comeback story

Vokra workers are so helpful and kind. They adopt give shelter and save cats/kittens. They have the tools to give you the best advice. They are good hearted people. They have such adorable cats there. Thanks to vokra I was able to get my cat back after he jumped off the balcony. I recommend this place to anyone that wants to adopt a cat or a kitten.

I fostered for VOKRA for over a year, and every interaction was very professional, organized, and compassionate. I ended up adopting a cat I had been fostering as an 'almost senior' and I am eternally grateful for this organization for the 7 years I shared with such a wonderful cat who was paired with me through the fostering program before she sadly passed. I cannot say enough good things about this organization. Incredible people doing much needed work.

The volunteers at VOKRA do amazing work rescuing cats and kittens. They socialize strays so that they can be fostered and then eventually adopted out to loving homes.

I needed assistance and advice re a possible stray cat. Even though I lived in Surrey Maria made arrangements with another trapper to help. Later we learned cat was feral and I was advised I’m now a Feral Guardian ti this poor soul. Maria gave great advice and tips. So helpful. Much appreciated
