I really like this vet clinic. I was lucky enough to sign my fur babies up when I first moved here. I can usually get in fairly quickly. The receptionists are very helpful and friendly. So far, I have had 2 of my 4 cats seen there. I like that I can get everything I need, including meds and specialty diets right there. Very friendly place and the doctors are good to my kitties!

I had earlier only given a 4 star rating, due to bad experiences with alternate vets when Dr. Baker wasn’t available. The addition of Dr. Portia Alcott has me upgrading my review. She is every bit as thorough as Dr Baker, to the point I asked him if she was related to him or if he was her mentor. You can’t go wrong with Mesquite Veterinary Hospital! Dr. Baker is by far the best most thorough veterinarian I’ve been to in 67 years of pet ownership. Only didn’t give a 5 star rating because it’s very hard to get an appointment with him, and I’ve had bad experiences with the other vets who cover for him.
