Description Good Dog Veterinary Care is the premier “all-dog” veterinary practice in the Southeast, and the only “all-dog” veterinary practice in the state of Georgia. We provide premium veterinary care to dogs in a warm, boutique environment and we are on mission to provide exceptional care to our fellow team members, our patients, and our clients. We are locally owned and operated by our founders, Dr.Patrick Singletary and Natalie Singletary. Our first location opened in Marietta in 2019 and our second location opened in Smyrna in 2023. We are a full-service veterinary hospital, specializing in wellness and preventive care, dentistry, internal medicine cases, soft tissue surgery, and breeding management while also welcoming emergency cases.

We have only had wonderful experiences with Good Dog. 🐕 We have three 50+ pound dogs (two of which are 11 years+), all with differing treatment needs, and the Smyrna facility is kind, adaptive, and efficient. So far regular vet visits, sedation for our especially reactive dog, nail trims, tooth extractions, and mass removals/biopsy have all gone very smoothly. Their well-designed process takes a lot of stress out of the visit, and it is amazing how spacious the facility feels once you walk in. We are forever fans of Dr. Weyl and the rest of the team.

EXCEPTIONAL experience from the moment I made the appointment via their website - to the staff's follow-up, greeting at the entry to the time I walked out the door. I never felt rushed ( rude staff and feeling rushed was the reason for my vet move ) I COULD'NT BE HAPPIER with the move to Good Dog. And another reason for the move was Dr. Weyl. She has been my boys doctor for at least 13 years, she recently moved here to Good Dog and I can see why! She is amazing and this place is fantastic! Kiara our Vet Tech was amazing as well! Can't say enough great things about Good Dog!

I really like Good Dog Veterinary Care. My husband and I switched our vet to good dog and couldn't be happier. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Pricing is fair and straightforward. Good Dog makes getting prescription medicine for senior dogs much easier than our old vet (which is why we switched). The examination portion of the appointment was very thorough. Good Dog caught a problem with our senior dog's abdomen that had been completely missed at our last vet. I highly recommend Good Dog if you're in the market for a new vet.

I was both elated and relieved to discover that Good Dog Veterinary Clinic is located in the former Going Gear premises! To boot, they treat dogs exclusively so are able to provide exceptional care for my 10-year-old King Rollo (Yorkipoo). The staff are exceedingly pleasant, and the environment is immaculate. I've had the opportunity to work with Dr. Tillis on several occasions and once with Dr. Weyl. They were extremely compassionate and provided comprehensive explanations during each visit. Furthermore, they are not engaged in the practice of price gouging, which I'm certain we can all appreciate. They also offer an exceptional Senior Wellness plan for dogs aged 7 and above. Good Dog Vet is undoubtedly the best, and words cannot express how greatly impressed and pleased I am! Thank you for you for coming to Smyrna!

I am so thankful for Good Dog Veterinary Care and Dr. Tillis’ team. They have been nothing short of welcoming and supportive with my Boykin Spaniel and her new litter of puppies. I changed vets for the litter, in hopes to find a more personable vet office for primary care. I just did not feel like I found an office up to par since moving to Atlanta, until coming to Good Dog Vet. Dr. Tillis truly takes the time and goes the extra mile on explaining every detail and answering any questions. Good Dog Veterinary Care proves to put quality over quantity, which I’ve learned is hard to find in the city. Also, the staff is amazing! Everyone is extremely friendly and you can tell they truly love their jobs, which says a lot about the practice. Shoutout to both Lauren and Ren who have been amazing assistants/techs during our visits and sweet to my girl and her litter!

Leaving the same review for both the Smyrna and Marietta location, as I have gone to both for my dog and I feel the same way for each location. Both locations are excellent. The atmosphere is very welcoming and clean. It doesn't have a "doctors office" vibe, but more like a cozy home vibe. I really like how the interior spaces are designed. Staff are also exceptional at both locations. One of the best vets I've ever had for my dog and will continue to be using them for the rest of my dogs life.
