Dr Keefer was very rude , refused to examine my dog knowing he had bleeding in his stools for the past week , also saw in his fecal sample he had passed something large and has lost 10 pounds since his last visit 2 weeks prior and should have been evaluated . His previous visit was rough as the veterinarian technician startled my dog by trying to get blood without any warning and again startled him in which he did snap however, they are the professionals and should have suggested muzzling my dog prior to any procedures . I followed their instructions and tranquilized my dog prior to this visit so again if he was so scared of my pet , they could have put a muzzle to ensure a safe visit and my pet could have received a full exam

I have been a part of banfield for a couple of years now and today was the worst experience I have had in a long time. My appointment for my dog was at 11:45 am and I had arrived at that time. I was told my appointment was at 11:15 am and I told her that can not be right since I received confirmation for his appointment before today. I was told that it was their lunch break and that they could not see him. I was extremely upset because it was just to take his blood and ship it to the lab so I could know what his numbers were for his valley fever. I let the technician know that I had to take extra time off of work to make this appointment and the amount of time trying to figure out who was right could’ve been used to just draw his blood. If she would have just taken his blood and let me pay I would’ve been gone by the time the staffs lunch started but instead her solution was to have me leave after driving 20 minutes from my house to just come back on Saturday to draw his blood. I have been a supervisor in customer service for many years and would have figured out the best solution for my customer instead of pushing them away. My dog is aggressive, has to be muzzled, and medicated just for him to come to these appointments. I’m absolutely disgusted that I have to accommodate for something that wasn’t my fault, and to be told it was a lack of communication on everyone’s part. I am usually really nice and a very accommodating person but when I am treated that way it infuriates me. So to conclude, I get to miss work, pay for my gas to drive all through Tucson just to be turned away, then have to come back on Saturday to just spend money at a place that does not deserve it, but what am I going to do, my dog has valley fever and has to be tested and I am going on a trip for three weeks and can’t get into another vet by Monday. I should not have to pay for this service. Absolutely disrespectful and rude customer service.

Had an aggressive cat so I asked for a sedation and a quick sanitary trim. I just wanted his butt shaved. They gave him a lion cut and now my other cats think he's new and my cat is having trouble adjusting. I'll have to be extra specific next time. They gave him a lion cut cause he had "oily spots" I don't mind that they pointed them out but I wish they would've asked before completely shaving him. Just make sure you are extra specific with orders. They did a good job and took care of him but I just wish next time they asked for permission before giving him a lion cut.

Horrible. My cat had dental surgery and ended up with a bladder blockage. I had to put him down 3 days later. They have not called to check on him or what happened. F this place. Zero stars. And I forgot to mention- when I took him to the emergency room cuz they were of no help, they told me it's possible he was given too much anesthesia during his surgery. Luckily for them I can't prove it or they would be shut down tomorrow.

My dog was bit in the head by a rattlesnake and she was dying on me. I rushed her over to Banfield and the staff didn't hesitate to take her in and help her. My dog was out and alive in that same day. Shoutout to the manager Luz, if she didnt take my dog in, she wouldnt be here with me today, definitely will be coming back for any of my animal care.

Normally you folks are great as long as I am willing to do drop off appointment this being said I have not had to bring my dog in when sick. VCS had recommended I have him checked out by his vet with in 12 hours. When I called they wanted me to drop him off the following day and kept interrupting me when I raised concerns ..I finally to agree to see him...and it feels like we were punished for it. We were there all day. Which would not have been bad but they finally gave me my dog at four o'clock but we had to wait another 1hr and 15 for the vet to talk to me.during the time they ha let me have my dog and seeing the vet I had let the receptionist know my blood sugar was going up to dangerous level and I needed to leave in order to take an injection.and still they made me wait by the time I left my blood sugar was at 480... I needed help... started to feel like we were being held hostage. I just wanted to pay and go. And now they want us back today...I am terrified of a repeat.and why can't we get an actual appointment instead of drop off
