Description Rescue Me Tucson is a 501(c)3 non-profit formed to establish and operate a collaborative-based pet adoption center opening Sept 18th, 2021. Our center will help multiple Tucson and Southern Arizona rescues and shelters provide consumers with a compassionate alternative to pet stores selling mill-bred puppies and kittens and help rescue animals find their forever homes. RMT’s model is based on the Best Friends No Kill Center in Los Angeles. We’ll be the first collaborative-based pet adoption center in Arizona, and the experiences we gain will help develop a template for centers in other communities. Our center will be open seven days a week and offer potential adopters the opportunity to meet many adoptable dogs and cats of all ages.

I came in and asked if they worked with the Humane Society or PACC. The worker proceeds to tell me how PACC had a new $10 billion dollar building and talk down on PACC and Humane society a bit, as if rescue me was better than those organizations based off funding. As someone who volunteered with both, I am shocked that someone who cares so much about animals would be so seemingly hostile about other organizations in the same city with a similar mission. It felt like a way too agressive way to say they don’t. It’s a shame because I would love to look at getting a cat there, but I would rather go where people are more friendly and supportive of other organizations.

We got our puppy from here almost a month ago and absolutely adore her!! She’s smart and playful + she’s already potty trained! Really great first adoption experience for my boyfriend and I. Would definitely recommend this place :)

Still looking for a fur baby but have been here a few times in the last couple weeks. Our interactions with the staff have all been great! Everyone there is so very helpful. Their place is clean and the animals accommodations are nice and clean. Would definitely recommend stopping by if your looking fora dog or cat.

What a wonderful organization. With awesome volunteers. We adopted Penny formerly Mina and couldn't be happier. We have been looking for the right dog since the beginning of the year and found a great match. Rescue Me staff was so informative, patient, kind and helpful with the adoption. What a positive experience. Clean. Caring. Happy place. Great people. Total opposite from the animal control facilities in the area. If you are looking for a new family member, we recommend Marana Rescue.

We adopted our little Willy Wonky on February 1st and he is just the sweetest kitty we could have ever asked for. He acts like he didn't know he was in a rescue! We were so impressed with the kitty condo they have and how clean and happy the facility was. And Nancy was an absolute pleasure.
