We just relocated to Franklin from Massachusetts and were in search of a new veterinarian for our Doodle pup. We were referred to Ark Animal Hospital and I’m so glad we found it! From the warmth of the office manager, Dana, and her team at the reception, to the gentle and loving bedside manner of Dr. Santiago and her vet tech, Audrey, we, and most importantly our pup, felt right at home. In the past been our pup has become super anxious in going to the vet, but I was heartened to see the time and patience they dedicated to making him feel comfortable and loved before his exam and vaccinations. I highly recommend this practice!

The staff was wonderful with our puppy dog. They did a full workup and he left with all of his shots and test. I was not impressed with the pricing details after they had already done everything. I experienced EXTREME sticker shock with the bill. Our prior vet from NY was very clear at all times what things would cost and give us the opportunity to make choices of what we would do or not do based on the money we had at that moment. That pricing after the fact was frustrating. Everything else was great. The Dr. and the staff were good with us! Thank you.

If you’re looking for a vet that doesn’t mess around - go to Animal Ark. Socks was my first baby and I was unknowingly over feeding her. Dr Paula was very frank about her being overweight and if I didn’t help her - she’d die young. I LOVE my girl and want her to be healthy & happy. On a special diet from Animal Ark, Socks lost 30# and is SO MUCH MORE happier than she ever was. She’s moving and playing like a 3 year old when she’s 8! If you think your dog is happy by eating whatever the heck they want and being extremely overweight, they’re not. They’re miserable. They’re gasping for air. Make your dog HAPPY by keeping them at a healthy weight that allows them to run and enjoy life! My girl loves the team at Animal Ark!

As a first time dog owner, they’ve been great to work with. They were reassuring when I called with concerns about my puppy’s tummy troubles, but also offered to move her annual appoint up so I could be seen that day. They were wonderful with my pup and covered all the need-to-know info.

I went for my first visit for my German shepherd the past week. He tends to get nervous and anxious when it comes to the vet. Dr. Santiago and her staff knew exactly how to calm him down and were very patient with him. I would give this vet more stars if possible.
